There was one detail in the story yesterday about
infighting in the PLO and Fatah than I didn't mention - that the accusation that Farouk Kaddoumi made against Mahmoud Abbas was that
he had worked with Israel to assassinate Arafat!And it was Al Jazeera's
broadcast of those accusations that caused the PA to
suspend Al Jazeera's operations in the West Bank.
