From Ian:

Seth Mandel: How Anti-Zionists’ Knowledge Deficit Shapes the Gaza Debate
Buried deep within a Haaretz article about the EU’s anti-Semitism coordinator is an implicit threat of moral blackmail that explains much of the anti-Israel discourse today.

The article is a hit piece on Katharina von Schnurbein, the head of the EU’s office of the European Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life. Von Schnurbein is the rare EU official who stands again the otherwise nonstop flood of single-minded Israel condemnation from the union’s officials. Haaretz, and the sources who spoke to the paper for the piece, are putting a bureaucratic target on her back in the hopes that she will be reined in.

Von Schnurbein knows that certain criticism of Israel, even when it ostensibly addresses policy, can bleed into anti-Semitic tropes or collective blame. She is therefore a moderating force, but the EU establishment (and Haaretz, apparently) sees her as a threat. Supra-national bodies like the EU and UN thought they had figured out a clever way to lob blood libels at the Jewish state without taking responsibility for them: They would support a network of NGOs and pressure groups who would claim expertise and let those groups, behind a veneer of objectivity, make the harshest accusations.

Von Schnurbein undermines this system of criticism-by-catspaw. And former EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell used the Haaretz article to make that clear:

“In an interview with Haaretz, Borrell warned over ‘inflationary misuse’ of accusations of antisemitism against Israel’s critics.

“The Catalonian former chief EU diplomat added that labeling the institutions mandated to uphold international law — including the UN, the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice — as ‘antisemitic’ implies that, by opposing crimes against humanity, you oppose Jews. ‘That is playing into the hands of Jew-haters,’ he says.”

And that’s the scam underlying the entire narrative of the Gaza war: Jews cannot defend themselves against spurious accusations of blood-lust because then they’ll be confirming for the world that “Jews” and “crimes against humanity” are synonymous. You see, even in trying to bat away claims of anti-Semitism, these officials cannot help but express anti-Semitic tropes.

This is called blackmail. Jews must either accept the libelous denunciations of those who seek their destruction or they will trigger an escalating campaign of libelous denunciations.
New Palestinian constitution slams door on Mideast peace
The Palestinian Authority’s recent draft of a shiny new constitution is meant to mollify Western nations who demand an end to the P.A.’s obsession with killing Jews and destroying the Jewish state. But anyone who’s ever uttered the words “Middle East peace” will surely be disappointed with the make-over.

Apparently, the Palestinians can’t help themselves: Their new constitution simply recommits them to the same old jihad they’ve waged for 78 years against Israel. Indeed, the Palestinians’ new document issues no call for peacemaking with Israel—in fact, it doesn’t mention Jews or Israel at all.

This constitution is more like a declaration of war, reaffirming four belligerent policies that have blocked “two states for two peoples” for decades:

1) Insistence on the fictional “right of return” to Israel of millions of refugee descendants who have never set foot in Israel.
2) Continuation of the Palestinians’ terrorist incentive program—“pay for slay”—that handsomely rewards murderers of innocent Jews;
3) Declaration of Jerusalem as the Palestinians’ eternal capital, though it has never been the capital of a Palestinian nation, nor even a Muslim or Arab capital; and
4) Uninterrupted support for [armed] “resistance” against [Israeli] “occupation” of the Palestinian “homeland,” which mentions no sharing of territory with Israel or the Jewish people.

While the new constitution does make promises about introducing some civil liberties for Palestinians, these sops to liberality are like decorative icing on a rotten cake, nullified by the constitution’s commitment to Islamic supremacy.

If the Palestinians really want acceptance from Israel, the United States and the rest of the Western world, they will need to reform—throwing out and thoroughly condemning the goals and policies that deny every possibility for peace with their Jewish neighbors. This means affirming reality by renouncing the “right of return,” acknowledging 3,000 years of Jewish history and heritage in the land of Israel, accepting the right of the Jewish people to sovereignty in their indigenous homeland and renouncing terrorism.

Unfortunately, given new Middle East poll results showing that 91% of Palestinians oppose recognition of Israel, any constitution that approves peaceful relations with the Jewish state will face tough Arab opposition.
PLO secretary-general says Hamas ‘not a terror organization’, slams US demands to disarm
Azzam al-Ahmad, the secretary-general of Mahmoud Abbas’s Palestine Liberation Organization, on Monday declared that the PLO opposes the disarmament of Hamas, which he said was “not a terror organization.”

In an interview with Egypt’s Al Shorouk newspaper, al-Ahmad slammed U.S. demands that the terrorist organization that led the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre disarm and cede its power in Gaza.

“They don’t want Hamas to have any role in the Strip,” explained the veteran official in Abbas’s Fatah Party, adding: “We completely reject this, because Hamas is part of the Palestinian national movement.”

Though Hamas has “not yet” joined the PLO, the body has held a “continuous national dialogue with them in order to fulfill the requirements for their entry into the organization,” he said.

The PLO, recognized worldwide as the representative of the Palestinian people, sets overall policy through its Executive Committee, headed by al-Ahmad. It also appoints the leadership of the Palestinian Authority, which administers limited self-rule in parts of Judea and Samaria.

Al-Ahmad stressed Monday that the PLO has “always rejected decisions issued by international institutions or governments to classify [Hamas] as a terror organization, as they are part of the Palestinian national fabric.”

“Everything that is said about disarming Hamas and that it is a terrorist group is rejected by us; Hamas is not a terror organization,” he added.

Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre was a “strategic mistake that inflicted immense damage on Gaza, and we paid a heavy price,” he emphasized.

In first, US embassy to provide consular services at pop-ups in West Bank settlements
The US Embassy in Israel announced Tuesday that it will for the first time operate pop-up locations in a pair of West Bank settlements to provide passport services to American citizens.

The first pop-up will be held on Friday in the Efrat settlement, which is home to a large American expat community.

The ultra-Orthodox settlement of Beitar Illit will also host a consular services event along with the Palestinian city of Ramallah, the US embassy said in an X post, adding that there will also be pop-ups in Haifa, Jerusalem, Netanya and Beit Shemesh.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry welcomed “the historic decision by the US Embassy in Jerusalem to extend consular services to American citizens in Judea and Samaria.”

“Thank you [US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee] for making the relation between Israel and the US closer and stronger than ever,” the Foreign Ministry tweeted.

The US offers passport and consular services at the Embassy in Jerusalem as well as at a Tel Aviv branch office. The number of dual American-Israeli nationals living in the West Bank is estimated to be in the tens of thousands.

The US embassy has previously provided consular services in Ramallah and other Palestinian cities in the West Bank. There was no immediate comment from Palestinian officials to Tuesday’s announcement.

Smotrich: Jerusalem will ‘never’ cede control of Judea and Samaria
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionism) declared on Monday that Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley are part of the Jewish state and “with God’s help, this can never be changed.”

Smotrich commented to JNS on figures showing that the Jewish population in the region grew in 2025 at twice the national rate.

The current 541,085 residents of Judea and Samaria are “not enough,” Smotrich told JNS. “We want the population to grow much more, throughout the entire State of Israel and in Judea and Samaria.”

Describing the often-disputed region as the security backbone of the entire country, Smotrich said Jerusalem would continue to expand its grip on Judea and Samaria, including through a construction boom.

“We are changing all the services the state provides there, because it is part of Israel, part of the State of Israel,” Smotrich added, “and with God’s help, this can never be changed.”

Trump's Churchill Moment on Iran
Churchill taught that when humanity is forced to fight evil, it must do so without compromise. You do not contain it or seek to understand it, you set out to destroy it.

"You do not reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth," Winston Churchill shouted at his Cabinet ministers and senior British military commanders who tried to persuade him why Britain had to reach an agreement with Nazi Germany.

By 1940, Germany had already conquered most of Europe. The isolationist U.S. still refused to join the war.

The Nazi monster was poised to invade Britain, where the opposition and most Cabinet ministers supported opening negotiations with the Nazis.

Hitler publicized in the world media that he did not want war.

British military leaders urged Churchill to respond to Hitler's overtures and immediately sign a peace agreement without dismantling Germany's military capabilities.
Jonathan Sacerdoti: Is Trump being played by Iran?
Half of America’s deployable air power sits within striking distance of Iran, and yet Washington is negotiating. Gaza is promised a gleaming future, and yet Hamas still refuses to disarm. Is this strategic patience, or proof that the US President has been dangerously misled, indulging adversaries who are buying time?

Two US carrier strike groups sit in the eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf. Land-based fighters rotate through Jordan and the Gulf states. Long-range bombers have been repositioned. Analysts calculate that somewhere between 40 and 50 per cent of America’s deployable air power is now concentrated in the Middle East, a level comparable to the build-up before the 1991 Gulf war and the 2003 invasion of Iraq. This feels similar in scale, even if ground forces are absent

At sea, the USS Gerald R. Ford and the USS Abraham Lincoln anchor two full strike groups. This is a posture designed for rapid transition from deterrence to strike. And yet Washington is negotiating with the Islamic Republic regime even as it has slaughtered tens of thousands of its citizens and rushes to create more ballistic missiles and resume its nuclear activity.

In Oman, sources indicate that Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, is expected in Muscat to deliver Tehran’s response to an American proposal. Back-channel diplomacy continues. Yesterday, India advised its citizens to leave Iran immediately. Videos circulated from Tehran showing explosions near power infrastructure. Iranian opposition outlets report that a cellular network was hacked and mass messages were sent out declaring: ‘To the Iranian people subjected to oppression – the US president is a man of action.’ The world is waiting to see whether this is choreography before compromise or the prelude to war.

Simultaneously, in Gaza, another drama unfolds. The President staged another Board of Peace extravaganza last week, once again presenting a vision of Gaza rebuilt into a gleaming coastal hub, towers rising where rubble now lies, investment and infrastructure replacing tunnels and Islamic terrorist rule. The premise is simple. Hamas must demilitarise. Weapons surrendered, command structures dismantled, Gaza transformed from terror hub to city. But Hamas continues to refuse.

These are the two dilemmas. Iran’s nuclear and missile programme on one front; Hamas’s refusal to disarm on the other. In both cases, critics question whether the administration is being strung along, lured into elaborate diplomatic processes while America’s adversaries buy time. In both cases, some suggest that the White House is indulging fantasies: Tehran voluntarily relinquishing decades of nuclear investment, Hamas dissolving itself in exchange for urban redevelopment. But that reading may miss what is really happening.

Trump mulls narrow Iran strike as deal remains uncertain, sources tell 'Post'
US President Donald Trump has not yet decided whether he wants to strike a deal with Iran, launch a weeks-long war to topple the regime, or initiate a narrow attack to try to pressure Tehran into a deal more to his liking, sources have indicated to The Jerusalem Post.

With massive amounts of fake news and speculation flooding the media, the Post understands that top American and Israeli officials are sometimes ultimately as unsure about what Trump might do next as the general public.

One of the latest trends that sources say has been discussed and is now being widely leaked to the media is the possibility of the president searching for a middle-ground decision, such as a narrow and short attack on the Islamic Republic.

Conceptually, Trump’s hope would be to cause enough harm to the regime to convince it to improve its terms for a diplomatic agreement that would resolve the overall standoff, whether on nuclear or ballistic missile issues, while avoiding a longer drawn-out conflict against the regime itself, which could lead to losing more American lives and a war where success might not be achieved.

Part of this relates to sources who have confirmed to the Post – and apparently Axios and The Wall Street Journal – that top American defense officials, including US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan Caine, have weighed heavily on Trump in terms of the potential costs of a full-scale war.
Not Just Nukes: Iran Producing Ballistic Missiles with ‘Chemical and Biological’ Warheads
Iran is producing ballistic missiles armed with "chemical and biological capabilities" in preparation for a military confrontation with the United States and Israel, according to Israeli military adviser Amir Avivi, who told the Washington Free Beacon that such missiles must be "dealt with" in any strike on Iran.

"There is a discussion in the Israeli defense establishment about the possibility of chemical and biological weapons," Avivi, who served as a brigadier general with the IDF and counsels the Israeli government on defense, told the Free Beacon in an interview Monday. "We know that they have capability to send a warhead that is chemical." For decades, the U.S. government has assessed that Iran is researching and developing chemical agents, specifically "anesthetics used to incapacitate victims by targeting the central nervous system," according to the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.

"This is why we want to make sure that any attack on this regime will make sure that all these capabilities are dealt with," Avivi said.

Avivi's remarks came after he made a similar assessment at a briefing with the Israel Defense and Security Forum on Monday. The Islamic Republic is "continuing preparations for war and the production of ballistic missiles, including chemical and biological ballistic missiles, which are very, very dangerous and need to be dealt with," he said.

Avivi's confirmation that the Israeli military is emphasizing a focus on Iran's chemical, biological, and ballistic capabilities follows reporting in December that suggested Tehran was developing new warheads for its long-range missiles, which it could use to carry out chemical and biological attacks across the Middle East. A regime insider told Iran International that the Islamic Republic’s leadership believes "the use of unconventional weapons can be justified in situations of existential threat."

Avivi told the Free Beacon that the prospect of such a strike "worries the Israeli defense establishment" and is one focus of talks with the Trump administration surrounding threats within Iran, adding that Israel is "providing targets and discussing the different capabilities that need to be dealt with" in those conversations and has pointed to chemical weapons as a top concern.

Are tanks in urban warfare a burden or benefit? – Israel’s experience
Few militaries have tested the limits of armored warfare in dense urban terrain as extensively as the Israel Defense Forces.

From the battles of Suez City in 1973 to Beirut in 1982, to Nablus and Jenin in 2002, and the more recent fighting in Gaza in 2014 and 2023, Israel has repeatedly confronted the question of whether tanks are an asset or a liability in cities.

Israeli military historians such as Brig. Gen. (res.) Dov Tamari and Maj. Gen. (res.) Israel Tal, the architect of the Merkava program, consistently argued that tanks remain indispensable when properly integrated with infantry and intelligence.

Their conclusions are echoed in IDF operational research units, which found that armored forces dramatically reduce infantry casualties when used correctly.

The IDF’s experience in Operation Defensive Shield in 2002 demonstrated that tanks provided essential firepower and protection when maneuvering through refugee camps and dense urban blocks.

Merkava tanks absorbed dozens of RPG hits in Jenin and Nablus, allowing infantry to advance with far fewer losses than expected.

After‑action reports from the IDF’s Ground Forces Command noted that armored units reduced infantry fatalities by more than 60% compared with operations where tanks were absent or delayed.

The tank’s ability to deliver precise 120 mm fire, thermal imaging, and heavy armor proved decisive in breaking fortified positions.

However, the 2006 Lebanon War exposed vulnerabilities.

Hezbollah’s use of advanced anti‑tank missiles such as the Kornet‑E inflicted significant damage, prompting the IDF to accelerate the development of the Trophy Active Protection System, which became operational in 2011.

Since its introduction, Trophy has intercepted more than 90% of incoming anti‑tank threats in Gaza and Lebanon, according to Israeli defense manufacturer Rafael. This transformed the tank from a liability back into a survivable, mobile fire base.

In the 2014 Gaza War and the 2023–2024 operations in Gaza, tanks again proved essential.
Footage from 2022 shows Hamas commanders overseeing dry run of October 7 attack
A lengthy video from 2022 shows a group of Hamas leaders sitting in a conference room and appearing to manage a dry run for what would be the terror group’s October 7, 2023, attack.

In the footage, aired by Channel 13 on Monday, the men can be seen sitting around a long table, some in military fatigues and others in civilian garb.

One of the men is Izz al-Din al-Haddad, who currently leads Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas documents and videos have demonstrated that the terror group had been planning an invasion of Israel for years.

The footage, which the network paired with previously seen video of Hamas terrorists training for the onslaught, shows one instance of the terror group actively planning portions of the attack, including its seaborne invasion of Zikim Beach, and its operatives’ infiltration into Israeli homes.

In the video, Hamas commanders can be seen praising the invading terrorists, deriding Israel as “confused” and vowing to leverage the success of the attack to release Palestinian security prisoners held by Israel.

The video was taken in October 2022, a year before the attack, and near the end of the tenure of the government led by former prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid. Channel 13 did not identify the source of the video.

Find all of Jonny's podcasts and writings on my Substack and help me by buying a coffee.

In this conversation, we meet Rawan Osman - a woman of Syrian and Lebanese heritage who grew up in a world where the "Jew" was the ultimate, untouchable enemy.

Rawan’s worldview shattered during an everyday trip to a grocery store in Strasbourg. What started as a visceral panic attack at the sight of Hebrew turned into a life-altering epiphany. "That gentleman converted me from an enemy to an ally simply by deciding to be kind," she says.

It wasn’t just a change of heart; it was a total identity reset. From the discovery of her Mizrahi Jewish blood to the "chutzpah" of a tradition that encourages you to argue with God, Rawan deconstructs the patterns of prejudice with unflinching clarity.

But what is the personal cost of choosing conviction over comfort? How do you rebuild an identity when your family and friends remove themselves from your world?

Rawan offers a roadmap for finding truth in a region defined by shadows. This isn’t just a conversion story, it’s a wake up call for the future of the Middle East.
For Senator Cruz, the fight against Jew-hatred is a fight for the soul of America
Jews may be a tiny people, but resurgent antisemitism portends sizeable problems for all Americans. It also reflects a well-funded, coordinated campaign.

These were among the important lessons at last week’s conference Challenging Extremism, Antisemitism, and Hate: From the Middle East to US Colleges, hosted by The George Washington University’s Program on Extremism. The day-long conference considered Jew-hatred as a multi-faceted problem that intersects with education, culture, media, politics, security, and law.

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz called antisemitism “evil” and a “brain rot,” before surveying the political landscape. “Roughly a decade ago, we began to see antisemitism rising on the left.” Democratic leaders “tried to look the other way and hope that it would go away.” Now, Congressional Democrats have “a real and cognisable pro-Hamas wing of the party. Not every Democrat agrees with the pro-Hamas wing, but almost to a person, they are terrified of them.”

Looking rightward, “in the last year, I have seen more antisemitism on the right than at any time in my lifetime. I think it is a profound threat,” Cruz continued.

The problem, though, surpasses “a handful of influencers, many of whom, I believe, are being paid tens of millions of dollars by Qatar.” These influencers’ “message is gaining real purchase with young” right-wingers, and Cruz worries about college students concluding “our team” hates Israel and Jews.

Cruz has decided “to do everything within my power ... to utterly and completely defeat this rising antisemitism on the right.” He’s endured public attacks believing “this is an existential threat ... I don’t want to wake up in five years and find us living in a country where both major parties are thoroughly anti-Israel and unapologetically antisemitic – and I believe that is a very real possibility.” The only answer is “to completely and utterly defeat this poison,” as this is a “battle for the soul of our country.”

For Jason Miyares, Virginia’s former Attorney General, October 7 was “one of those … pivotal moments in … modern American history” and “a moral test” that “our college campuses failed”.

The stories Jewish students shared with Miyares at off-the-record events at campus Hillels were “horrific.” To bridge the gap between students’ experiences and campus leaders’ actions, Miyares brought campus police chiefs to Richmond to train them. Beyond offering his support, “we laid out very explicit guidelines of how they needed to advise their universities and their campus police” to maintain welcoming campuses for all.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon dubbed Jew-hatred “an American problem, not a Jewish problem. It strikes at the heart of who we are as a nation of Americans, a people committed to the right to worship freely and the right of equal protection under the law.” With an eye toward protecting all American’s civil rights, Dhillon’s team is “leading a relentless charge to root out antisemitism wherever we find it.”

Dhillon described attacks on synagogues and Jewish individuals since October 7 as “part of a coordinated and well-funded assault on our American values through … antisemitism.”

When Dhillon visited Jews whose synagogues in New Jersey and California had been targeted, “All of these communities have told me they feel like they’re under a coordinated attack, and the authorities aren’t doing enough to help them.” Dhillon warned would-be bad actors: “We are watching, and there will be consequences.”

Amb. Huckabee says Tucker Carlson has undermined President Trump on Israel: 'I hope they quit letting him into the White House'
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is not mincing words when it comes to Tucker Carlson’s criticism of President Donald Trump over Israel. It would neatly fit into the category of “righteous anger.”

“I don’t really care what Tucker says to me or about me, but I care deeply that he so routinely disparages the President with either direct attacks or inferences that his policies are wrong and hurtful to America, and that President Trump is getting pushed around by foreign governments,” Ambassador Huckabee told me by text exchange.

“I take offense to that as someone who is very proud of the incredible job President Trump is doing in the US and around the world. No president in my lifetime comes close, and for Tucker to seek to undermine him and his decisions is divisive and dangerous.”

Huckabee went on to tell ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg that Carlson should not be anywhere near the White House. “Tucker repeatedly disparaged my president, my boss and this is hurtful to the movement, the party, and the United States of America,” the ambassador said.

“I hope they quit letting him into the White House because, quite frankly, this is a person who is doing serious, significant damage to President Trump and to the administration.”

Hours after those comments, ALL ISRAEL NEWS learned that, apparently, Tucker Carlson was indeed at the White House on Monday. Jake Sherman, founder of Punchbowl News, reported this on 𝕏, as did Jack Posobiec of Human Events. As of this writing, there are no details as to why he was there or what was discussed nor has the White House officially confirmed the visit. You can be sure we’ll follow up.

Carlson has undermined Trump and his policies regarding Israel in too many ways to count at this point. The plethora of accusations cut at the core of Trump’s political identity – strength, independence, and control over his own foreign policy. Somehow, Tucker Carlson believes that the strongest figure in modern American history has gone soft at the direction of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tucker Carlson says Netanyahu is 'completely evil, completely destructive' in Saudi interview
Far-right American pundit Tucker Carlson appeared on Saudi state-owned TV network on Saturday to double down on a myriad of anti-Israel claims he previously made.

The interview aired days after his visit to Israel, during which he grilled US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on prioritizing Israel over the US, civilian casualties during the war in Gaza, and convicted spy Jonathan Pollard, amongst other topics. However, he notably kept his responses lighter on Saudi state network Al Liwan and failed to mention cases of Saudi abuse of human rights, such as the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

During the interview, Carlson hit out at US political leaders, who he claimed were more loyal to Israel than to America.

“What I really object to, what makes me mad, is when American leaders, whose job it is to represent Americans, are more loyal to a foreign country than they are to their own,” he said.

“They [US political leaders] have instead sent billions and billions and billions of dollars to a foreign country. And none of that has helped the United States. In fact, it's hurt the United States.”

He then hit out at the US government for going along with what he interpreted as Israel’s demands to overthrow the Islamic Regime in Iran.

“How is it in America's interest to decapitate the government of Iran on behalf of Israel? Not to rebuild a new Iran, but just to kind of kill the people in charge and hope something better happens. To create chaos in Iran, as we have done at Israel's behest in so many countries in the region, as you well know since you live in the region,” he said. “This is bad for us, this is bad for the surrounding countries, it is bad for the world, I don't think it's good for Israel. Actually, I don't think Israel understands its own long-term interest very well, [but] that's my view.”

Marxist-Leninist Group That Organized Anti-Israel Encampments Now Teaches High School Students To Walk Out of Class To Protest ICE
Organizers behind the anti-Israel demonstrations across U.S. schools and cities are expanding their playbook to another cause: agitating high school students against Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Marxist-Leninist group that seeks to overthrow capitalism, has been a key player in the anti-Israel movement that gained steam in the United States after Hamas's Oct. 7, 2023, attack. The PSL has recently pivoted to teaching high-schoolers to walk out of their classes in protest against ICE, creating a Telegram channel for students in Georgia and holding online webinars to direct a "student movement against ICE."

Footage from the PSL's Georgia webinar over the weekend shows members of the organization "instructing students on protest methods, offering PSL literature for student teach-ins, and providing advice on how to interrogate teachers for their political views," according to the North American Values Institute (NAVI) watchdog group, which shared videos with the Washington Free Beacon.

PSL member and transgender activist Addison Clapp acknowledged at the end of the Saturday session that members of the organization had personally reached out to high school students to invite them to the webinar.

"You were likely invited here by a PSL member who texted you about it," Clapp said. "Just text them right back and be like, 'I got some questions,' and if they can't answer them, they can reach out to me or somebody else who could answer their questions."
Oxford student to face 2028 trial over alleged ‘Zios’ chant at Gaza protest
An Oxford University student accused of chanting “put the Zios in the ground” at a pro-Gaza protest will stand trial in January 2028, a court has heard.

Samuel Williams, 21, has pleaded not guilty to stirring up racial hatred, following an incident at a Palestine Coalition demonstration in central London on 11 October last year.

Williams appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday, where he spoke only to confirm his name and enter his plea. He was granted conditional bail ahead of a trial scheduled for 17 January 2028.

The charge was brought after footage circulated online showing a man addressing a crowd in Whitehall. In the clip, the speaker tells protesters: “A steadfast and noble resistance in Palestine and in Gaza to look to, to be inspired by and – I don’t want to yap for too long – but a chant that we’ve been workshopping in Oxford that maybe you guys want to join in.” He then leads the chant: “Gaza, Gaza make us proud, put the Zios in the ground.”

The prosecution alleges Williams used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour during the demonstration.

Following his arrest, Oxford University confirmed that Williams had been suspended.

The case has drawn sharp concern within the Jewish community, where the term “Zios” is widely understood as an antisemitic slur, and where chants calling for people to be “put in the ground” are viewed as incitement to violence.
The brazen ad for rent-a-crowd protesters to attend anti-Israel rally in Melbourne
As protesters spilled onto the streets of Melbourne last week to rally against Israeli president Isaac Herzog's visit to Australia, Daily Mail can reveal that some there couldn't give a toss.

They were being paid.

An Airtasker ad pledged to pay people $100 a pop to turn up at Flinders St Station and protest against the Israeli president and his country's ongoing war in Gaza.

'Israel's genocidal PM is coming to Melbourne and our government is rolling out the red carpet for him,' the ad stated.

'There will be protests in every capital city tomorrow evening. The Melbourne protest starts at 5.30pm at Flinders St Station.'

The 'recruiter' claimed she was too unwell to attend the protest, and needed five people to make up for her loss.

'Can all be separate individuals, doesn't need to be an established group,' the ad read.

Job applicants were told they needed to stay at the protest for 'at least an hour'.

'And preferably make a sign to hold up,' the ad stated.

Those who took up the job opportunity were advised they would only be paid after they provided three photos at the beginning, middle, and end of their time at the march.

'This is a peaceful demonstration and you must act peacefully,' they were told.

The ad, which initially carried images of the recruiter, appeared on a Facebook page titled 'Melbourne Name and Shame', where angry Melburnians unleashed.

'Just proves the whole "paid protesters" thing. Hence why they don't care about the Iranian protester deaths coz there's no money in that,' one person commented.
