As we
reported in June, UNICEF's home page still claims that
14,000 children were killed in Gaza even after the Gaza health ministry changed its story and said at the time that there were less than 8,000 children killed - a number that UN OCHA had already been publishing.
One would think that UNICEF would have corrected their figures to be in line with other UN agencies over the past four months.
Oh, who are we kidding? UNICEF does fundraising based on the number of children it can claim Israel attacked, so it has no incentive to bother telling the truth.
Where did he get the 17,000 figure from? It wasn't the Gaza health ministry. It wasn't UN-OCHA whose own count is at
about 11,000.
The
only source for the 17,000 figure is
Hamas.
UNICEF gets its statistics straight from Hamas. Not the health ministry, not OCHA, not a trusted NGO - no, UNICEF trusts a terror group to have accurate figures.
Perhaps some reporter can do their job and, you know, ask them.
