There has been a horrific wave of murders in Israel's Arab sector this year, about 150 Arab citizens killed. Israel has been trying different things to fight the phenomenon and nothing has worked so far - in fact, the murder rate is accelerating.

No one disputes that this is a major problem that must be prioritized. But according to Palestinian media, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor is accusing Israel of being complicit in these murders. (This is not on their webpage as of this writing.)

They don't even pretend to have any proof of this slander. They just say "the recurrence of murders and the analysis of their facts and their unprecedented rise indicate the existence of an Israeli policy that perpetuates impunity and encourages the commission of these crimes."

Their main evidence of this is that Israel manages to determine who is behind terror attacks, so why can't it do the same for Arabs internally? The answer is obvious: it took decades to build an excellent intelligence infrastructure that can now be leveraged. It would take time to do the same for Israeli Arabs, but there are additional obstacles - citizens cannot be treated as presumed enemies. Imagine the backlash if Israeli police put spies in Israeli mosques. It requires a completely different skill set to attack this problem, and Euro-Med almost certainly knows this.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor doesn't seem to care about human rights of Israeli Arabs nearly as much as they want to use them as yet another excuse to bash Israel.

Arabic media are publishing a supposed list of four Saudi demands in order for the kingdom to start negotiations to recognize Israel.

Private sources reported that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia desires strong political, economic, security and social relations with Israel that include all kinds of cooperation with friendly countries and the establishment of an unprecedented partnership in all fields.

For this, the Kingdom needs security and political guarantees before starting serious negotiations on the form of the relationship. Therefore, the Saudi National Security Council set four conditions for starting real negotiations under the auspices of the United States of America, which are:

1- The United States agrees to sell the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 50 F-35 aircraft, without banning any of the types of advanced capabilities it has, like Israel.

2- The United States of America agrees to complete the sale and construction of 5 nuclear reactors for peaceful purposes.

3- Israel's agreement to subject its nuclear reactors to be under the supervision of the Atomic Energy Commission, and agreement of a Middle East region free of nuclear weapons.

4- Israel should stop weakening the Palestinian National Authority and return to the negotiating table in order to achieve peace and stability in the region.

The only places these were published were Palestinian media, so the list is a little suspect.

Beyond that, these are pre-conditions before any negotiations, and from that perspective they seem absurd - the US giving advanced weapons in exchange for talks that could go nowhere? Israel being forced to make major concessions before any negotiations even start?

And one more thing: The Saudi National Security Council was dissolved in 2015.

This looks like a Palestinian psy-ops attempt to pressure the Saudis to demand more concessions from Israel on the Palestinian issue, as there is a real (and founded) fear among Palestinians that they will be only an incidental part of any normalization plan.

Last week I noted that Palestinian militants seem to have a mass histrionic personality disorder, where they revel in getting attention and feeling relevant at any expense.

Palestinian media exaggerates the effects of relatively minor incidents to feel more important and relevant. And we see it again today.

The Jerusalem Post reports:

An Israeli man in his 20s was moderately injured in a shooting attack near Wadi al-Haramiya, between Shilo and Ofra, in the West Bank, on Tuesday morning as Israel marked Remembrance Day.

The man is conscious and was injured on his hand. He was part of a group of runners running in memory of fallen soldiers and was shot by a terrorist firing from a passing car.
Hamas reports this drive-by shooting as a major operation and the injury and Israeli response as a major military victory:

Operation "Eyes of the Thieves" is a natural outgrowth of anger over the crime of the Bab al-Rahma chapel
Hamas spokesman for the city of Jerusalem, Muhammad Hamadeh, blessed the shooting operation this morning towards a gathering of settlers near the "Oyoun al-Haramiya" junction, north of Ramallah.

Hamada said that it was a heroic operation at an exceptional time, carried out while the settlers were celebrating their dead, who were killed during the resistance operations.

He stressed that the heroic operation is a natural result of the Palestinian state of anger towards the crimes of the occupation, the latest of which was the crime of storming the Bab al-Rahma chapel, desecrating it and confiscating its contents, as part of a malicious plan targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

And he stressed that "Operation "Eyes of the Thieves" will not be the last, and the occupation soldiers and settlers will remain a legitimate target for the bullets of our resistance fighters and their heroic operations, and the occupation will see from our people great harm as long as they remain in our land."

On Tuesday morning, a settler was wounded in a heroic shooting near the Oyoun al-Haramiyya junction, north of Ramallah, in the West Bank. Resistance fighters fired from  a speeding vehicle in the Oyoun al-Haramiyeh area, moderately wounding a 28-year-old settler.

The occupation forces mobilized around the location of the shooting, set up a number of roadblocks, and closed the Atara checkpoint, north of Ramallah, and the Jalazoun gate, which connects with the city of Al-Bireh.

This is more coverage than Israeli media is giving it.

I've been going through the Palestine Post archives of 75 years ago, and there were Jews being killed pretty much every day at the end of 1947 and the beginning of 1948. Not to minimize the terror threat nowadays, but Israelis are much safer nowadays than they were before Israel was reborn.

Muhammad Shehada is one of the most vocal defenders of Palestinian terror under the pretense of "human rights."  He is the Chief of Communication for the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor and is a columnist for the Forward, also having written for Haaretz, Vice and Newsweek.

He angrily denounced anyone who claimed that the car ramming attack on Friday that killed three, including two children, and critically injured others (including their father), saying that there was no evidence that the attack was deliberate.

Somehow, it is a sheer coincidence that Palestinians happen to lose control of cars near crowds of Jews. And equally strange that they celebrate those accidents and canonize the poor people who all have faulty brakes due to the "occupation."

Dashcam footage has been released showing the attack. The blue car speeding to the left of the dashcam veers over two lanes to hit the bus stop.

There will always be apologists for terror. But why does the mainstream media keep giving them a platform for their vile hate?

The Ultrapal Palestinian news site - the same site that employs Shatha Hanaysha, the reporter who was next to Shireen Abu Akleh when she was shot - has a fawning article about Palestinian bombing attacks against Israelis over the past decade, praising not the victims but the bombers.

The article was written as a response to the twin bomb attacks in Jerusalem on November 23.

It is proud of the work of bomber Ishaq Taher Arafa whose 2011 bomb places at a crowded bus stop killed a British citizen, Mary Jean Gardner.

It celebrates Muhammad Mafarjah, who planted a bomb on a bus in Tel Aviv in 2012, injuring 20 "settlers."

It compliments Abd al-Hamid Abu Srour, 19, whose bomb exploded prematurely in am Egged bus in Jerusalem in 2016, injuring 21 "settlers."

It even celebrates the murder of Rina Shnerb, 17, by the PFLP in 2018, calling her a "female settler."

What other group of people so publicly celebrate the murder - and murderers - of civilians?

Maybe there is some ISIS media that does, but as far as I know, there is no other purported news media in the world, whose reporters are recognized worldwide as professional journalists, that so openly supports and celebrates the murder of Jews.

And it justifies their murders by calling every single one - even those who live in Tel Aviv - "settlers."

Today, a group of Palestinians protested outside the British Consulate in Jerusalem to mark the 105th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.

They attempted to present a lengthy letter of protest, demanding an apology and compensation from the British. The consulate refused to accept the letter so they placed it on the grate of the front door.

I count nine protesters.

Sama News, SND news, Al Siasi, Maan, AlQuds, Roya News, Wattan, NABD, Al Watan Voice  and Safa are all covering the story.

That means more Palestinian news sites wrote about the protest than the number of protesters to begin with.

And the Israel haters do this often. While they do sometime get big crowds to their demonstrations, they cover even the tiniest protests as big news, to give the impression of far more political power than they really have.

After all, perception is as important as reality, and the anti-Israel side is excellent at propaganda techniques.
