Photo of Muslim and Jew praying together upsets Arabs

The Israel in Arabic Facebook and Twitter pages showed this photo with the caption "Differences in religion and belief in one God. #Israel  Pluralism and freedom of worship. "

Pretty innocuous, right?

Wrong.

The Twitter responses in Arabic for a picture showing coexistence were really, really angry. There are angry responses to every post by @IsraelInArabic but these were especially vitriolic.

One person even responded with a photo of Hitler saying "We rejoice in killing you."

The Arab media picked up on this, with this article calling it "propaganda" and saying that Israel is guilty of religious and ethnic cleansing.

The responses on the Facebook page were not nearly as bad. Many were supportive of the image. The article claims that Israel is censoring the negative comments, but there are still some that joke about Jews going to ovens.
