- Abdel Fattah Hussein Kharousha, death penalty, family feuds, hamas, Jenin
During the funeral of Abdel Fattah Kharousheh, who murdered the Yaniv brothers, Palestinian police fired tear gas and tried to take away Hamas flags. This resulted in Kharousheh's body falling to the ground.
Another was killed in a dispute over a coat.
Hamas sentenced three people to death in Gaza, two of them for "collaborating" with Israel and one for drug charges.
The Palestinian Supreme Fatwa Council said "our Palestinian people are facing a war of extermination, which is being carried out by the occupation authorities and herds of settlers."

The news stories about it use a single word: "Unfortunate."
Press sources stated that forces from the security services went to the town of Jayyous and imposed a curfew to control the unfortunate events that took place in the town. And the Directorate of Education in Qalqilya decided to close the schools in the town of Jayyus tomorrow, Wednesday, because of the unfortunate events that took place in the town this evening.
Palestine Today described the fighting as an "unfortunate quarrel."
Two young men were murdered and the only word they can use is "unfortunate?"
There's no anger. There are no calls to limit access to weapons. No, families targeting each other is as Palestinian as can be. Maybe it will be celebrated in the next exhibition of the Palestine Museum.
But if a Jew can be blamed for the death of a Palestinian, no matter how indirectly, it is "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" and sometimes a "holocaust."
Apparently, being murdered is no biggie. No one cares if a Palestinian isn't killed by the right person.

- Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Arab factions, Bethlehem, family feuds, Fatah, media bias, media silence, Palestinian Security Forces, two-state solution
Dramatic video shows gunfire in the middle of a commercial street as passersby scramble for cover.
This was not Israeli-Palestinian violence. It was not even Hamas-Fatah violence. It was Fatah-Fatah violence, as a Fatah leader in Bethlehem said that the gunmen ignored a decision from Fatah leaders not to march to celebrate Fatah's 58th anniversary.
The Al Aqsa Brigades, meanwhile, accused the Fatah leader of ordering shooting them as well as civilians.
Whatever the truth is, it is clear that Palestinian forces are trigger-happy, and not at all reluctant to fire automatic weapons in the midst of an urban area with shops and pedestrians.
The media is filled with images of Israeli soldiers framed to be violent invaders. Yet this footage of how Palestinians act without reporters anywhere to be found is nowhere to be seen except in social media.
This is what happens between Palestinians when the world isn't watching. And this what a Palestinian state would look like, in the weeks it would exist before collapsing in total chaos.
Only a week ago, we were treated to the usual stories about how Christians are fleeing Palestinian areas supposedly because of Israeli actions. But this is what the cradle of Christianity really looks like when there are no Jews anywhere near.
And this is barely news even in Palestinian media, both because it is fairly routine and because Palestinian media is conditioned not to show things that make their leaders look bad.
The Western world, pretending that a two state agreement is a solution, is absolutely clueless of what kind of state they are advocating.

- clan clashes, family feuds, murder, No Jews No News, Palestinian Independent Center for Human Rights, Palestinian society, security chaos
In Hebron yesterday, three people were executed while driving in a car - by other Palestinians.
Fighting broke out in Yatta as the news spread.
This happens often. Sometimes the murders are from family feuds, sometimes from honor killings.
The Palestinian Independent Center for Human Rights finds a correlation between Palestinians attacking Jews and Palestinians attacking Palestinians.
The same report notes that the Palestinian Authority is not keen on prosecuting those who misuse weapons - because a lot of them are members of Fatah.
But it happens in Gaza, too. And in the Palestinian camps in Syria and Lebanon. When you have a society where the most admired people are terrorists, and where guns are easily available, where honor is the motivating factor in nearly every decision - this is what is going to happen.
Not that there are any academic papers on the phenomenon. I couldn't find any from the past 20 years that mentioned "security chaos" or "clan clashes" or "family feuds" in Palestinian territories. There are plenty of articles in Arabic about the phenomenon, but in the overwhelmingly liberal halls of academia, this is not a topic for analysis. Palestinians are killed by Jews, not by other Palestinians.
And among the "progressive" crowd, one never hears calls for effective gun control in the Palestinian territories. But in that case, the reason is because they support Palestinians attacking Jews, and they need weapons to do that. A little collateral damage of scores of Palestinians killed as a result? To these faux liberals, it is a small price to pay.
