The New York Times Invents a Jewish Pig Problem

The New York Times this week ran a headline: “Pig Organ Transplants May Pose a Dilemma for Some Jews and Muslims.”

A dilemma? For Jews?

In Judaism, the pig prohibition applies only to eating its meat. Full stop. There has never been a serious halachic debate about using pig-derived medical materials when life is at stake.   So what is the dilemma?

The article sharpens the supposed question:

Now biotech companies are raising genetically altered pigs to transplant their organs into patients whose own kidneys have failed. Experts in the field are only beginning to grapple with the question: Will Jews and Muslims accept a transplanted organ from a pig if it saves their lives?

It has not always been entirely clear whether the religious prohibitions on pigs apply strictly to consumption, and neither of these religions has a supreme authority, like the pope, who would issue a decree applicable to all.

Really? It has not always been entirely clear in halacha?   

The article itself goes on to show that this "dilemma" is not at all a dilemma for Jews.

For Jews, the short answer is a clear and unequivocal yes. It is one of the exceedingly rare instances in which the maxim “two Jews, three opinions” does not apply.

“It’s 100 percent permitted,” even for the most observant and Orthodox Jews, said Rabbi Pamela Barmash, a professor of Hebrew Bible and biblical Hebrew at Washington University in St. Louis.

Judaism teaches that in cases of life and death, the obligation to preserve life trumps all other religious commandments and obligations. And in the modern era, the prohibition against the pig applies only to eating it, according to Rabbi Moshe Hauer, the executive vice president of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.

“A Jew can do everything from having a heart valve that comes from a pig to playing professional football with a football made of pigskin,” Rabbi Hauer said in an interview.

One doesn't need a Jewish pope to issue such a legal decision. 

Note the use of "in the modern era." This is not true - Judaism always recognized saving lives as a higher priority than kosher laws. Even consuming pig-based products would be allowed when there is no alternative.

The entire article is clickbait - manufacturing a controversy when none exists. This is how the Times works: create a "dilemma", flatten distinct religions into a single stereotype of primitive belief systems struggling to deal with modern topics, then walk it back in the body of the article. 

But the clickbait headline - and the insinuation - sticks.

Now, when the New York Times shows such disregard for headline accuracy in a trivial article about Judaism, how can you trust the headlines when the topic is much more important - like how the IDF is fighting in Gaza?

If the Times cannot get something as basic as this right - a question with an unequivocal, one-word halachic answer - why would anyone trust their reporting when the subject is Israel’s war in Gaza?

"The Socialism of Fools": NYT article on Leftist antisemitism - from 1971!

There is nothing new under the sun. I kept trying to pare it down but practically every paragraph has relevance today. The roots of today's leftist antisemitism clearly come from the late 1960s, although they follow earlier leftist antisemitism from Marx himself.

From the New York Times, January 3, 1971:

TWENTY‐FIVE years after the end of World War II and the collapse of the most anti Semitic regime in history, anti‐Semitism appears to be on the rise around the world. But unlike the situation before 1945, when anti‐Jewish politics was largely identified with rightist elements, the current wave is linked to governments, parties, and groups which are conventionally described as leftist. Various New Left activists in different countries, American black militant groups, Arab “socialist” spokesmen, and East European Communist governments have moved on from anti‐Zionist to anti‐Jewish and fully anti‐Semitic statements and acts. And though the extreme right remains relatively weak in Western countries, its news‐ papers have become much more open about referring to “Jewish conspiracies.”

THE most important expression of anti‐Jewish sentiments in the West takes the form of attacks on “Zionists” and the state of Israel by every section of the left, except the Democratic Socialists. As the war in Vietnarn peters out, the various in carnations of the extreme left new and old, anarchists, Maoists, Trotskyists, Black Panthers and Communists — have reoriented their international emotional priorities to identify the heroes as the Arab terrorists and freedom fighters, and the villains as Israel and its American ally. In Germany, New Left students, in a sickening replay of the behavior of their Nazi predecessors of 1928‐33 (university students were the first stratum in Germany to back the Nazis, giving them majorities in student council elections as early as 1931), chant as they parade: “Mach die Nahe Osten rot; schlag die Zionis ten tot” (“Make the Near East Red; smash the Zionists dead”). Dieter Kunzelmann, who played a major role in the demonstrations at the Free University of Berlin during the late nineteen‐sixties, and who is now in the Middle East with the fedayeen, being instructed, according to his published letters, “in the use of explosives ... [and] the manufacture of time bombs,”; has written from Amman that the German left must break down the pro‐Semitism that emerged out of German guilt at the Holocaust, that Germany must get over “der Judenknax” (the “thing” about the Jews) (Encounter, Nov., 1970).

French New Left spokesmen have openly defended the need to speak in anti‐Semitie terms when supporting the Arab cause. Jean Bauberot, former leader of the French Student Christian Association and currently editor of Herytem, a New Left journal, wrote in the May‐July, 1969, issue that to “demonstrate the intricacies of the Palestine problem” leftists must “use expressions which, taken by themselves, appear to resemble certain lines from ‘Mein Kampf.'” The French New Left also has expressed its pro‐Arab feeling by violent action. Members of the Mouvement Contre le Racisme Anti Arabe, formed by people active in the revolutionary movement of May, 1968, were responsible for attacks in October, 1968, on the Rothschild Bank in Paris.

The open expression of anti Zionist and anti‐Jewish feelings by important segments of the French left has resulted in the revival in some quarters of a traditional Catholic religious‐based anti‐Judaism. An article last fall in L'Arche, the monthly Journal of the French Jewish community, reports on the attacks on Judaism and Israel which have diffused from the student New Left to various Catholic groups. They deny the historic claims of the Jews to Israel on the theological grounds that the church, rather than contemporary Jewry, is the true heir of ancient Israel. They claim that, for a Christian, the only solution of the Jewish problem is “the final conversion of this people to Christ resurrected,” It is striking that these ancient concepts have reappeared not among conservative Catholics, but among the progressives who cooperate closely with the New Left, while the French bishops have criticized these beliefs as counter to Catholic doctrine as defined by Vatican II.

THE American New Left largely shares the pro‐Arab terrorist views expressed by the movement in Europe. In general, however, the white American left has been more inhibited than the European in expressing anti ‐ Semitic statements, probably because so much of its audience and mass base is Jewish. Nevertheless, some of its spokesmen have called for terrorism against American supporters of Israel. Eric Mann, a leader of the Weathermen, writing in The Guardian of Oct. 17, 1970, stated: “Israeli embassies, tourist offices, airlines and Zionist fund‐raising and social affairs are important targets for whatever action is decided to be appropriate.” A student of Weathermen activities, Ross Baker, professor of political science at Rutgers, has seriously raised the question as to whether the recent series of bombings in Rochester, N. Y., of assorted governmental and Establishment targets—which include two synagogues — “might be the assertion that Weathermen's embrace of the Palestinian Liberation Movement has been translated into depredations against Jewish religious institutions in America.” There is, of course, no evidence as to which group was responsible for the bombing in Rochester, but the pattern followed does strongly suggest that it was a leftist or black militant one.

Overt expressions of anti Semitism have occasionally appeared in American New Left organs. Thus, in an article, “Jews Riot in the Ghetto,” in The East Village Other of Oct. 18, 1968, Philip Anthony fantasized in a crudely anti Semitic fashion concerning the consequences of the possible assassination of Albert Shanker, president of the New York teachers’ union. The article included crude parodies of Yiddish expressions and accents. ...

The same objective has been pursued by linking Zion ism and Israelis to complicity with the Nazis in the murder of European Jews. An article by Tabitha Petran in the Nov. 21, 1969, issue of Fire (the publication of the Revolutionary Youth Movement faction of S.D.S.) claimed that after Hitler came to power “Zionist leaders offered the Nazi Government their cooperation in finding a solution to the Jewish question.” She went on to argue that collaboration with “organized Jewry ... remained ‘the very cornerstone’ of [the Nazis’] Jewish policy.” Supposedly, “hundreds of Zionist leaders were permitted to escape to Palestine” during World War II because they collaborated with the Nazis by withholding “from the masses in Eastern Europe the fact that they were marked for shipment to death camps.”

STUDENT and intellectual radicals, whether Jews or not, have historically had a penchant for self‐hatred in the form of approval for anti intellectual populism, and have defined wisdom as coming from the instincts of the masses, of the uneducated, of the poor. Currently, such masochistic populism in the United States takes the form of identifying with the values, statements and tactics of black militant groups. Many of these have increasingly engaged in anti‐Semitic propaganda, often only partially disguised as anti‐Zionism.

The most overt expressions of anti‐Semitism have come generally from the most militant of the black organizations, the one with closest ties to sections of the white New and Old Lefts, the self‐described Marxist‐Leninist Black Panther party. The party goes out of its way to Identify as Jews those in the Establishment who oppose it and who happen to be Jews. Thus, in the Dec. 21, 1968, issue of The Black Panther, Eldridge Cleaver attacked Judge Monroe Friedman, who presided over the Oakland, Calif., trial of Huey Newton in the following terms: “If the Jews like Judge Friedman are going to be allowed to function, and come to their synagogues to pray on Saturdays, or do whatever they do down there, then we'll make a coalition with the Arabs, against the Jews....”

The Panthers nave even argued that Judge Julius J. Hoffman gave the Jewish defendants in the Chicago conspiracy trial better treatment than he gave Bobby Seale. Connie Matthews, international coordinator of the party, wrote in The Black Panther of April 25, 1970, that there was an alliance between the Jewish judge and the Jewish defendants:

“It was a Zionist judge, Judge Hoffman, who allowed the other Zionists to go free but has kept Bobby Seale in jail and sentenced him to four years for contempt charges. Bobby Seale alone stands trial again in April on conspiracy charges. With whom did he conspire? The Zionists?

“The other Zionists in the ... trial [i.e., Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin] were willing and did sacrifice Bobby Seale and his role in the conspiracy trial to gain publicity.”

Now clearly Rubin and Hoffman are in no way “Zionists.” This is simply a code word for Jew, just as it has become in Eastern Europe.

Though opposed to all capitalists, the Panthers single out Jewish businessmen for attack. Thus, a statement in the May 19, 1970, issue of the party newspaper declares that they are against “Zionist exploitation here In Babylon, manifested in the robber barons that exploit in the garment industry and the bandit merchants and greedy slum lords that operate in our communities.” In describing a tenants’ action in Atlantic City against a landlord, an article in the June 13, 1970, Black Panther praises the ten ants for “gathering together to form a United Front against Zionist Pig Sobel. . . .” The article concludes with the exhortation: “ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE — DEATH TO THE ZIONIST PIGS.” And as if to prove that the reference to Sobel was not fortuitous, the paper a week later carried a story on “Substandard Housing in America” which referred to buildings “owned by a Zionist by the name of Rosenbaum."

To make Jews (or “Zionists”) as a group responsible for the actions of single individuals is anti‐Semitism in its purest form. Ironically, it would appear that the very fact of disproportionate participation of Jews in leftist causes is a major cause of subsequent anti‐Semitism. In the United States, the integrationist movement was largely an alliance between Negroes and Jews (who, to a considerable extent, actually dominated it). Many of the interracial civil rights organizations have been led and financed by whites, and the majority of their white members and big financial contributors have been Jews. Insofar as a black effort emerged to break loose from involvement with whites, from domination of the civil rights struggle by white liberals and radicals, this meant concretely a break with Jews.

THE white left, both new and old, while increasingly anti‐Israeli, and occasionally anti‐Semitic, does not engage in the kind of virulent anti Semitism which may be found among the black militant left and the white extreme right. But it is important to reiterate that the white left does not challenge black anti‐Semitism. This is not because it fears to criticize the black militants. ....Yet in all of this criticism, anti‐Semitism is never mentioned. The white left acts as if it were of no consequence, or as if no one on the left were capable of it.

The same double standard with respect to anti‐Semitism is seen in the response of much of the American leftist press to the propaganda themes of the Arabs. On one hand, it accepts the self description of a number of Arab states and movements as socialist, though little is nationalized or socialized in these countries, and though the inequality of income and land ownership is greater in all the Arab nations than in Israel. More significant, however, is the fact that the American left‐wing press also ignores the fact that the Arab militants, as well as a number of Arab governments, have been ready to use whatever sources of anti‐Semitic, anti American, anti‐capitalist or anti‐Israeli feelings exist to foster their cause.

The Arabs, of course, like other critics of the Jews on the far left and right, insist that they are only anti‐Zionist. Yet there is clear evidence that anti‐Semitism — not simply anti‐Zionism — has deeply penetrated Arab groups and governments. Many official Egyptian books and pamphlets dealing with the Palestine problem, for example, have reprinted or cited as factual the hoary mythological “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” a document put out in the late 19th century by the Czarist police, which purports to contain the details of an inter national Jewish conspiracy to control the world.

At least one prominent French New Left spokesman, Jean Bauberot, has acknowl edged and sought to justify the repeated anti‐Semitic state ments in Arab propaganda, “To be against all forms of racism is as stupid as being against all forms of violence,” he wrote. “We must begin by saying that the Palestinians have the right at present to appear anti‐Semitic to us. . . . The [Middle East] situation is a racist one, and if we refuse the Palestinians the right to name their oppressors, this amounts to a right to disband them culturally” (Harytem, May‐July, 1969).

Not surprisingly, Arab spokesmen have been willing to work with extremist groups on the right as well as the left. And the far right has reciprocated in many countries. When the Belgian Jean Robert Debbaudt, a veteran of the German SS Walloon Legion, announced the re‐formation of the fascist Rexist movement founded by the Belgian Quisling, Leon Degrelle, he concluded his announcement with the words: “Vive Leon Degrelle! Vive Al Fatah! Rex vaincra!” The West European neo‐Fascist magazine, La Nation Europeenne, which stands for a unified anti‐Communist Fascist Europe, has only two foreign representatives, one in Algiers, and the other in Cairo. It has carried many advertisements from Arab sources, e.g., publicizing fairs in Algiers and Iraq, or French language anti‐Zionist books?

The ultrarightist, racist American National States Rights party, for example, has repeatedly expressed pro Arab, pro‐guerrilla sentiments in its newspaper, such as: “The time has come for us White Christian Americans to come to the aid of our good anti‐Communist Arab friends and demand that the Government stop aiding the Jews” (The Thunderbolt, Dec., 1969). ... Arab materials increasingly appear in left‐wing, right‐wing and black‐nationalist papers which share an antipathy to Israel and Jewry.

THE fact that this time the predominant weight of the anti‐Semitic thrust is on the left rather than the right will surprise only those who are unaware of the considerable literature on anti‐Semitism it the socialist and other leftist movements. The identification of the Jews with international finance, with capitalism, with the status of businessman, with Shylock has long replaced the image of the Jew as Antichrist for many on the left and right. Karl Marx himself accepted the stereotype which linked Jews with capitalism. Thus, in his essay on “The Jewish Question,” he wrote: “What is the worldly cult of the Jew? Bargaining. What is his worldly God? Money. . . .”

Some leftists have been willing to accept or tolerate anti‐Semitism since the mid 19th century as some sort of groping toward a progressive anticapitalist position by masses in contact with Jewish businessmen. ...[F]avorable reactions to popular anti Semitism among German and Austrian Socialists led August Bebel, the famous German Socialist leader, to describe anti Semitism as “the socialism of fools.”

The task of analyzing the sources of these sentiments among the left is further complicated by the fact that, as we have seen, Jews play a very great role in various radical groups, both new and old, both student and adult. Some who have tried to analyze the special appeal of leftist universalistic ideologies to Jews have argued that identifying with a universalistic movement, one which rejects all forms of religious or ethnic particularism and all group loyalties, as the extreme leftist movements do, appeals to members of minority groups who seek to escape the stigma of belonging to an unpopular minority. To some degree the literature on “Jewish self hatred” and on “Jewish anti Semitism” suggests that adherence to radical causes has been a way of escaping one's Jewishness. Hence, one finds youths of Jewish origin who react with fervor to every nationalist cause but that of the Jews, who are sensitive to every slight against every other minority, but not to overt attacks against Jews, not even when directed against Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin.

In expressing directly or in directly a disdain for Jewishness, the young New Leftists are following in a classic tradition set by a number of prominent Marxists of Jewish origins, who could find it in their hearts to be concerned about many national groups, but not the Jews. The famous Polish Jewish revolutionary Rosa Luxemburg specifically repudiated any concern with the plight of the Jews in a letter written in 1917, in which she indicated that the exploited of Asia and Africa were “so much closer” to her than the Jews that “I cannot find a special corner in my heart for the ghetto; I feel at home in the whole world.” In “Are the Jews a Race?,” the only book on the Jewish question written by a major Marxist theoretician, Karl. Kautsky, who was also of Jewish origins, criticized Judaism as the major source of medieval thinking left in the modern world, one which must “dissolve . . . and disappear.” And like Marx, Kautsky wrote about Judaism: “The sooner it disappears, the better it will be, not only for society, but also for the Jews themselves.”

The Jews have suffered severely in the past from the insensitivity to the consequences of anti‐Semitism exhibited by many “internationalist” leftists, both Jewish and non‐Jewish. The late Isaac Deutscher, a leading Marxist analyst, and himself of Polish Jewish background, wrote in his book “The Non‐Jewish Jew”: “If, instead of arguing against Zionism in the nineteen‐twenties and nineteen thirties I had urged European Jews to go to Palestine, I might have helped to save some of the lives that were later extinguished in Hitler's gas chambers.” Today, the revival of anti‐Semitism, or of a tolerance for it when expressed by “progressive,” proletarian, Third World or racially oppressed people, not only increases the insecurity of Israel, but severely endangers Soviet Jewry. ...

The author goes on to say that not all Leftist thinkers are antisemitic, but the trend is troubling.

It goes even more so today. The explicit Jew-hatred is toned down but the roots of today's "anti-Zionism" is clearly yesterday's explicit antisemitism. That is, after all, the only logical reason for the obsession with Israel's crimes, real or mostly) imagined.

No criticism of explicit Leftist antisemitism? Check.
No criticism of Arab antisemitism? Check.
Embracing antisemitic motifs under the guise of "anti-Zionism"? Check.

The main difference is while the 1970s-era Jewish leftists joined to run away from Judaism, now they happily pretend to embrace their Jewishness - to shield their fellow Leftists from the charge of antisemtism. Even though most of them know nothing about Judaism and they want to know less.

Arabs and Muslims know that the Jews, especially Israeli Jews, are brilliant and diabolical. They use their scientific knowledge to advance their nefarious cause, building ever-increasingly sophisticated weapons whose only purpose is to harass and annoy Arabs.

But the Zionist brilliance is not limited to chemistry, electronics and medicine. Apparently, the Zionist Jews are experts at weaponizing animals to do unspeakable acts of espionage and vandalism.

Every couple of months, the Arab media describes such schemes in detail.

Here, for the first time, is the most complete known list of Zionist animal plots.

1. Evil Zionist Poison-Resistant Super-Rats

In 2008, the official Wafa Palestinian Arab news agency - under the direct control of PA president Mahmoud Abbas - reported that Israel is using rats to drive Arabs out of the Old City of Jerusalem.

"Rats have become an Israeli weapon to displace and expel Arab residents of the occupied Old City of Jerusalem," Wafa reported.

"Over the past two months, dozens of settlers come to the alleyways and streets of the Old City carrying iron cages full of rats. They release the rats, which find shelter in open sewage systems."

Wafa went on to quoted anonymous Arab residents as saying that they had tried to poison the rats but nothing worked.

Hasan Khater, secretary-general of the Islamic-Christian Front in Jerusalem, said that the goal was to "increase the suffering of the [Arabs] in Jerusalem by turning their lives into a real tragedy and forcing them to evict their homes and leave the city."

Palestine Today added that the rats were damaging Arab shops and homes.

As we speak, evil Zionist scientists are breeding these super-rats. Poisons and traps cannot kill them.

But more impressively, the rats are trained to distinguish between Jewish and Arab homes and shops in Jerusalem, and only attack the Arabs. This is no doubt the result of years of genetic research combined with micro-chips implanted in the rats' brains to ensure that the victims are all 100% Arab.

2. The Zio-Boars: Resistance is Futile

In February 2007, the anti-Israel IMEMC released this "news" item:

Palestinian sources in Salfit, in the northern part of the West Bank, reported on Thursday that Israeli settlers released boars in Palestinian farmlands near Salfit, in the northern part of the West Bank.
Resident Abdul-Fattah Al Ghazzawi, 43, stated that the settlers released at least twenty boars that attacked his farmland and several surrounding farmlands and ate the plants.
The settlers kept the boars in the farmlands overnight and only moved them away on Thursday morning.
Al Ghazzawi added that the settlers have carried out several similar attacks against the farmlands recently, and that the number of attacks has significantly increased.

Amazing! Religious Jewish Israeli settlers are raising wild pigs specifically so they can release them to destroy only Palestinian Arab crops! While boars are far from kosher, the hate of the settlers knows no bounds, so instead of trying to make a living or raise a family, many of them apparently decided to go with the "raise and train wild boars to harass Arabs" route.

This particular rumor was repeated many times. From the Palestinian Arab Ma'an News in April 2007:

A herd of wild boars on Tuesday attacked the cleaning workers of Salfit municipality while they were emptying a garbage truck.

The wild boars are being released by Israeli settlers in order to destroy the plants and crops of Palestinians.

How does one tame a wild animal enough to return to home base after doing its damage? This is another Zionist scientific mystery.

In June, 2007, the Palestine Today website added a new twist. Now there were "hundreds" of the well-trained wild pigs, but we also learned that there were so many of them because of the "racist wall" Israel was building to keep Arab terrorists out! It seems that the wall did double-duty, because it also kept the boars out of Jewish areas. Even though, you know, the Jews had trained them not to eat Jewish crops. But no matter - it is now a war crime! (The June article also added wolves to the list of Zionist animal attackers.)

The evil Zionists didn't rest on their laurels, though. Soon they weren't only training the pigs to specifically attack crops at the most critical times in their growth, but also what time of day to attack. From 2008:

Herds of wild pigs dumped in the outskirts of the West Bank city of Salfit by residents of the nearby Ariel Israeli settlement, are preventing civilians from leaving their homes in the evening, for fear of being attacked.
Eyewitnesses from the Al-Freiz neighborhood near the settlement said that in the evening after the sunset prayer the pigs attack gardens.

The pigs have now become smarter than their Arab enemies. But they had one more trick up their sleeve, perhaps inevitable in 2009 but devastating nonetheless: they were suspected of carrying swine flu.

The secret settler pig program was a rousing success. Everyone could agree that these amazing creatures had struck terror in the minds of the enemy. In fact, they were so successful that the Israeli government and army started taking over the program from the settlers, as this 2009 article from Palestine Today revealed:

Witnesses in the town of Arraba affirmed to the news agency that the Israeli occupation forces and the so-called Israeli Nature Protection Service brought a tanker full of pigs inside the town, under the protection and guard of military patrols of the army of occupation, and placed them on Arraba-Ya'bad street in a garbage dump near the town of Arraba.

So now we have implicated settlers, the Israel Nature Protection Service and the IDF.

The fact that the Mossad has not yet been suspected is proof of how good they really are.

3. The Amazing Tree-Eating Sheep

It is well known that the only people in the entire world who harvest olives are Palestinian Arabs, usually old women who happen to be caught in the act by enterprising photographers from wire services. After all, Palestinian Arabs have been harvesting their olives for dozens of years now, proving their ancient claim to the land.

This naturally enrages Israeli settlers, who cannot stand to see any olive trees in the entire area.

So they came up with a new trick to get rid of them: unleash the Zionist Sheep of Terror!

From Ma'an:

Settlers attempting to impede Palestinian olive harvests initiated a bizarre new tactic on Thursday, apparently leaving flocks of sheep at olive groves to feed on the small trees .
Residents told Ma'an that Israeli settlers "dumped dozens of sheep" on Palestinian farmland neighboring the illegal settlement of Itamar, where the animals damaged and devoured dozens of olive and fig trees.
57-year-old Jamil Daraqshah claimed that he saw an Israeli shepherd at his farm in the village of Awarta, which is south of Nablus, just days before. Also evidence, he said, is that Palestinians are not permitted to enter the area without first coordinating with the Palestinian-Israeli liaison office in Nablus.

In retrospect, it is so obvious. I mean, why wouldn't Jews living in the area send their sheep to eat trees that would hurt their digestive systems and possibly ruin them for being sold? After all, they must get rid of the olive (and fig) trees, and how efficient sheep are to do the job!

5. The Lion of Zion

In 2007, Arabs had a new fear: the Zionist Lion!

Israeli soldiers on Saturday told villagers from al-Fourdess village, located near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, that a Lioness had escaped from the nearby settlement of Qedumem.
Witnesses reported that a large number of Israeli soldiers were seen looking for the escaped lioness on Friday night, but did not tell villagers of the dangerous animal until Saturday.
The witnesses added that the soldiers used light flares during the night to illuminate the sky in their search for the animal.
Osamah, a resident of the village of Al Fourdess, told IMEMC that a Palestinian shepherd from the village had saw the animal approaching the area.
Villagers added that they now feared both settler attacks and attacks from the potentially ferocious animal.

Note how the soldiers were careful to keep the Arab village in the dark for an entire night, no doubt hoping for a few maulings and a good meal for the lion (whose name was probably Yehudah Aryeh Leib.)

6. The Zio-Cows of Destruction

The Lebanese border is usually a quiet place. Sometimes, though, an international incident erupts: a Hezbollah ambush and kidnapping of Israeli soldiers, an Israeli patrol wanting to clear trees or perhaps something far more diabolical: Zionist cows.

Israeli cows guided by Israeli shepherds have been crossing the border in an act southerners are condemning as a violation of the country's sovereignty, especially since the cattle is being protected by the Israeli Army. The bovine "incursions" have even provoked Lebanese dogs that have now made it their mission to make the cows return where they came from.
Lebanese shepherds are also very concerned with falling water levels in the area as a result of the straying Israeli livestock.
Ismail Nasser, from Kfar Shuba, described how the Israeli cows have been crossing the border on a daily basis on their way to Baathail Lake without any consequences, while a commotion would erupt if any of his dogs were to approach the Blue Line, which was drawn by the United Nations in 2000, after Israel's withdrawal from almost all of the south.
As Nasser spoke, three cows appeared in the distance and were soon chased by the shepherd's barking dogs. As the dogs appeared to close in on their targets, an Israeli Merkava tank made its way to the combat zone only to disappear few moments after.
Nasser sighed with relief.
"There's barely enough water for me and my fellow Lebanese shepherds and each Israeli cow drinks more than 40 of our goats put together. Why doesn't UNIFIL consider this as an violation of the Blue Line?" Nasser asked.

Indeed, why hasn't the UN convened yet on the thirsty Joo-cows, taking away precious water from Arab farmers? Where's Amnesty International? Where's J Street?

The world's silence in this matter only proves that the Jews control everything!

7. Egyptian Remote-Controlled Tourist-Eating Sharks

Not all of Egypt's tourists visit the Pyramids. Lots of them like to hang out in beautiful, sunny Sharm el-Sheikh.

But last year the Zionists hatched their most deadly plan yet.

A German tourist was mauled to death by a shark off Egypt's Red Sea coast Sunday, but if popular rumors on the street are to be believed, it was the Israelis who did it.
The attack came days after authorities claimed they had hunted and killed a shark believed to have injured three foreign tourists in previous incidents.
A popular account has it that Israel is "dumping" hungry sharks in the Red Sea in a bid to weaken Egypt's thriving tourism industry.
One tourism company operator who owns a small fleet of mini-buses that cater to Cairo's tourist spots told me that Israel wants Egypt to lose one of its most vital economic resources so that it can toe the line on the Palestinians.

An Egyptian official thought there was merit to the theory:

"What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark (in the sea) to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question, but it needs time to confirm," South Sinai Gov. Muhammad Abdel Fadil Shousha told egynews.net.

A diving instructor went on Egyptian TV to add more expert testimony:

Mustafa Ismail: The fish that caused the problem is not a sea fish. This type of shark is not a sea shark.
Interviewer: What kind of shark is it?
Mustafa Ismail: An ocean shark. This type of shark migrates from South Africa all the way to the top of the Earth. They don't enter alleys. The Red Sea is an alley compared to the ocean.
[An Israeli diver] told me that they had found a baby shark of a certain species opposite the Eilat port. Whey they found it, they saw it had a GPS device on it.
Interviewer: A guiding device?
Mustafa Ismail: Yes, on its back. Anyone else would have ignored it, but not us.

Remote controlled killer sharks! The only thing missing are the frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!

8. Spy Vultures of Doom

The most recent of the Zionist Attack Zoo members, discovered early this year:

Saudi media reported on Tuesday that a vulture tagged with the words, “Tel Aviv University,” had been detained for being a Mossad spy.

A report in the Saudi paper, Al-Weeam, claimed that the vulture, bearing a leg bracelet and transmitter, apparently placed by Israeli bird scientists studying migration patterns, had been found in a rural area of the country.

The paper said the flight appeared to be “a Zionist plot.”

The report triggered a plethora of posts on Arabic websites, claiming that “Zionists” had trained birds for espionage.

The vulture was eventually pardoned by a Saudi prince, who foolishly believed the Zionists at Tel Aviv University who said the markings that mentioned that school really meant that the school was responsible for the bird. How gullible he was!

Now the vulture, known by its spy name of R65, is free to spy on other Arab countries. Bwa-ha-ha-ha!

9. Secret Squirrel Espionage

Iran has had great success in infiltrating Israeli spy agencies and foiling Zionist plots against the great Islamic Republic. Perhaps its most notable victory, however, was when it busted the Squirrel Spy Ring:

Iranian intelligence operatives recently detained over a dozen squirrels found within the nation's borders, claiming the rodents were serving as spies for Western powers determined to undermine the Islamic Republic.
"In recent weeks, intelligence operatives have arrested 14 squirrels within Iran's borders," state-sponsored news agency IRNA reported. "The squirrels were carrying spy gear of foreign agencies, and were stopped before they could act, thanks to the alertness of our intelligence services."
Iranian police commander Esmaeil Ahmadi-Moqadam confirmed the report, saying that a number of squirrels had been caught bearing foreign spy gear within Iran's borders.

Tragically, Iran did not make their trial public. As far as we can tell, the squirrels did not enjoy even basic prisoner rights such as the right to a lawyer or even a phone call. The Red Cross never visited the squirrels. We are afraid that the poor rodents are no longer with us.

Forget Human Rights Watch - where is PETA when we need them?

10. Pigeons with Invisible Strings

Only a year after the ever-vigilant Iranians discovered the squirrels with spy equipment, they stumbled across another Zionist animal spy plot.

One of the pigeons was caught near a rose water production plant in the city of Kashan in Isfahan province, the Etemad Melli newspaper reported. It said that some metal rings and "invisible" strings were attached to the bird, suggesting that it might have been somehow communicating what it had seen with the equipment it was carrying.
"Early this month, a black pigeon was caught bearing a blue-coated metal ring, with invisible strings," a source told the newspaper.
The source gave no further description of the pigeons, nor what their fate might be.
Natanz is home to Iran's heavily-bunkered underground uranium enrichment plant, which is also not far from Kashan.

Iran has extraordinarily sensitive spy equipment, meant to find things as hard to detect as invisible strings. Being invisible, they are also weightless, so presumably they could be followed back all the way to the secret Zionist animal facilities in Haifa (oops! Forget I said that!)

These invisible strings have an entire host of military and civilian applications, most famously to spin clothing for great emperors.

11. Jewish Jellyfish

Sharks were not the only deadly sea creature hiding off of Egypt's coast. They also have special Mossad-trained lethal jellyfish. From Egyptian TV, from the same diving instructor who talked about the remote-controlled sharks:

Mustafa Ismail: Do you remember that when we were kids, the jellyfish in Alexandria would sting? Back home, in Al-Ghardaqa and in the Red Sea, you could roll the jellyfish in your hands and nothing would happen. Okay? There are all kinds of jellyfish. We would cut them up with a knife and use them for fish bait.
For some years now, there is a phenomenon nobody is talking about. Killing, paralyzing jellyfish have appeared in Al-Ghardaqa and on the Red Sea. Who brought these jellyfish there?
Interviewer: Who?
Mustafa Ismail: Who indeed?

Ah, that's the question. Who, indeed, is responsible for the lethal, paralyzing jellyfish of the Red Sea?

Hmmm. That's a toughie.

Or, maybe the jellyfish were just sick of being cut up for bait, and wanted their revenge. Hard to say.

12. Basra badgers

Not directly Zionist, but pretty close:

Word spread among the populace that UK troops had introduced strange man-eating, bear-like beasts into the area to sow panic.
But several of the creatures, caught and killed by local farmers, have been identified by experts as honey badgers.The rumours spread because the animals had appeared near the British base at Basra airport. 

Maybe it was Bigfoot? 

13. Slithering Zio-snakes:

Arabs in the West Bank are not only concerned for sheep, lions and wild Zionist pigs. They also have to worry about Israeli snakes:

Eyewitnesses said a snake at least one meter long bit a woman on farmland near Salfit.
Locals, who have often accused Ariel settlers of releasing wild boars into villages and farmland, said the snake might have escaped from the nearby settlement.

As with the other creatures, the snakes are well trained to distinguish their Arab prey from other humans. My guess is that they use pheromones.

14. Mosquitoes of Mass Destruction:

From oxymoronically-named website Islamic-Intelligence (turn your speakers down when you visit):

Israel is now using mosquitoes as a vector for bioweapons. This is far more dangerous than any nucelar [sic] weapon and can kill entire populations on a continent.

Their proof was that a mosquito researcher committed suicide, and why else would he have done such a thing if he wasn't secretly working on mosquito WMD? I mean, it is simple logic. 

Also, the Mossad has been accused of infecting mosquitoes with HIV to infect Arabs.

How are the Jews so successful at training animals to do such spectacular feats of harassment, espionage, and assassinations?

Almost certainly the answer can be found in the Koran, where evil Jews were turned into apes and pigs. Clearly, that experience acclimated Jews to being part of the animal kingdom, and they learned over the centuries how to communicate with other animals and teach them to do their bidding.

Antisemitism in Turkey is just as virulent as in the Arab world

On Sunday, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan appeared to threaten to invade Israel.

As with other anti-Israel statements out of Turkey, the Western news media rarely associates them with antisemitism. The narrative that Muslims aren't antisemitic, and only anti-Zionist, and antisemitism is regarded as anomalous, with Turkey insisting that the Jews were welcome members of the Ottoman Empire.

But a quick survey of Turkish news media, looking for the word "Jews" ("Yahudiler"), finds that Turkey's media is just as antisemitic as any Arab state. Few are discussing this. 

Here are some examples of classic antisemitism in Turkish media from just the past week.

In Dogruhaber, an article by Dr. Abdulkadir Turan who has written many antisemitic articles in recent months starts off by freely admitting and glorifying Turkish antisemitism:

Among us, the most serious insult was to call someone a beraz (pig) or a jew (jew). ....

What does a Jew do? He destroys faith with his insidiousness. If he sells you something, he cheats, gets inside you and makes you fight each other. With these characteristics, all the evils that Muslims face in our classical works are somehow associated with a Jew.

In Ardahan Haber, Dr. Meryem Çıldır spins an insane antisemitic conspiracy theory blaming all Turkish ills on Jews:

According to the evil and know-it-all Zionist Jews, everyone on earth who says “There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God” is a terrorist. The child of a mother and father who recites the Shahada should be killed while still a baby by tons of bombs being dropped on him, or by phosphorus bombs being dropped on him and his bones being reduced to dust,

According to the Zionist Jewish imperialist terrorists, anyone who confirms this should be killed, destroyed, and never given the right to life;  The logic is that they should be tortured, left hungry and thirsty, and even burned to death in agony…

 She goes on to claim that an opposition Muslim movement in Turkey was "founded by Zionists' and then that Israel's territorial aims are not only fromt he Nile to the Euphrates but also parts of Turkey, Libya and Iran. And then she blames Jews for homosexuality in Turkey (but notes that Turkish doctors are coming up with cures.)

A series of articles in Ilke Kocaeli claim Jews, including Chabad,  are trying to take over northern Cyprus. 

Yeni Akit and other news sites say that Jews control America:

When it comes to the demands of the Zionist Jews, it makes no difference whether those who come to power are Democrats or Republicans.

Because the American deep state is in their hands.

All the cosmic rooms of the USA have been taken over by Zionist Jews.

The entire USA has become a toy serving the desires and interests of the Jews. Now let's take a look at Kamala Harris: Her father is Jamaican, her mother is Indian, she is very close to Joe Biden's son, she is famous for preventing pedophilic perverts from being punished while she was the Attorney General of the State of California, she is strongly supported by the son of Hungarian Jew Soros, she is the most ardent defender of the so-called Armenian genocide lies, she practically shouts at every opportunity and everywhere that she serves the Jews with all her heart... 

Again, this is only this week. I didn't see any articles sympathetic to Jews in Turkish media. (The only Muslim majority country I have seen that consistently publishes positive articles about Jews is Morocco.)

The Jewish community in Turkey listed lots of significant  antisemitic events over 2023, including a Nazi banner unfurled in a public park and signs along an anti-Israel march route that said "Death to Jews" and calling to attack Jews in Turkey.

Antisemitism is mainstream in European Turkey, a member of NATO and which aspires to join the EU. 

Shouldn't Western countries be more critical of Turkey's antisemitism than that of Arab Muslim countries? et I have yet to hear (as of this writing) any criticism from NATO about its member state threatening to invade Israel.

If we cannot even have a conversation about Muslim antisemitism, we cannot possibly fight against it.

Head of largest Muslim UK charity quits after antisemitic, pro-terror posts uncovered

The Times of London revealed that a leader of Britain’s largest Muslim charity had posted a string of antisemitic and pro-Hamas posts on Facebook.

The revelation forced Heshmat Khalifa, a trustee and director of Islamic Relief Worldwide, to step down. 

In Facebook posts he referred to Jews as the “grandchildren of monkeys and pigs” and called Egypt’s president a “Zionist pimp.”

Islamic Relief's £570 million income over the past five years included contributions from the United Nations, the European Commission and the British taxpayer.

Khalifa wrote on social media that Hamas is “the purest resistance movement in modern history”. He added that declaring its armed wing a terrorist organisation was a “shameful disgrace to all Muslims.”

Many of his antisemitic insults were aimed at Egypt's president Al Sisi. Khalifa called the Muslim president a “pimp son of the Jews”, a “Zionist pig”, a “Zionist traitor” and a “Zionist criminal”.

Khalifa deleted the posts after the Times informed him that they would be writing about them.

Like most antisemites nowadays, he denied he was a Jew-hater. He told The Times that his comments were “my expressions of frustration with the political regime, rather than beliefs that I hold”. He said: “I did not intend to insult the Jewish community and neither do I hold views which are antisemitic. I have dedicated much of my life’s work to promoting tolerance and freedom of religion and beliefs.”

How that translates to calling Jews the descendants of apes and pigs is unclear.

The British-based Muslims Against Antisemitism denounced the posts, calling them "appalling antisemitism" and saying "These precise comments are more widespread than thought, and we will continue to work to reduce antisemitism, inspire Muslims to stand up against it, and support those who do."

Another sighting of Zionist Pigs

...Witnesses in the town of Arraba affirmed to the news agency that the Israeli occupation forces and the so-called Israeli Nature Protection Service brought a tanker full of pigs inside the town, under the protection and guard of military patrols of the army of occupation, and placed them on Arraba-Ya'bad street in a garbage dump near the town of Arraba.

Settlers from the Ariel settlement have dumped wild pigs on Thursday in 'Ein Al-Qabileh neighborhood south of Salfit where they smashed the farmers' plants.

Farmer Mohammad Faleh 'Omran said that the pigs destroyed his tomato seedlings, ruined the earth and trampled on his plants.

Farmer Mahmoud Hassan said that the pigs smashed his apple shrubs and his field at night.

He added that the farmers have killed three pigs among the large herds released by the settlers.

Yes, those Zionists have bred pigs that can distinguish between Arab and Jewish crops. They spend years raising these huge herds of pigs specifically to dump them in Arab villages when they reach just the right amount of maturity. They drive over to the Arab neighborhoods in trucks and dump them there, knowing implanting them with embedded microchips they will leave the village and make their way to Arab farms and cause damage far less than the value of the pigs themselves.

How nefarious can you be?

Egyptian scientist claims Pepsi made from pig intestines

Palestine Press Agency reports:

Egyptian scientist Dr. Mustafa Shakaa, the Chairman of the Monitoring Committee of the Supreme Council of Egyptian research, said that it has been proved beyond any doubt that through careful analysis that the content of Pepsi-Cola contains material from the intestines of pigs.

He goes on to say that the people who deny the story from Pepsi are Zionists and that they bribe officials to overlook the pig parts of Pepsi.

He goes on to say that Pepsi adds these components deliberately to help Pepsi get digested, but also that the Zionist Pepsi company has been laughing over the years from their plan to surreptitiously feeding pig meat to Muslims who drink the product.

This rumor has been around for years, as this interesting Muslim site points out:

Nevertheless, this rumor isn't sort of confined to weirdos and fringes, even Egyptian government sponsored websites or chatsites or whatever report it (in Arabic) here. What is most interesting about this latter post, as well as numerous similar posts out there in the blogosphere, is that they begin with the following title: "Have the Americans truly succeeded in ridiculing 2 billion Muslims and Arabs and caused them to drink all of these years carbonated beverages made from pig intestines?" Arabic readers:

So the rumor out there that has spread pretty far and wide is that Pepsi Cola, this huge ubiquitous presence in the Middle East (everyone has a Pepsi with dinner) with I would guess I don't really know billions of dollars of revenue per annum from the Muslim world is going to risk all of those substantial sums and a potential catastrophic drop in share price, for a laugh. I should note the piece gives other potential reasons they do this, relating to digestion and whatnot but the title provides the most prominent and important one. The posts explain if you drink Pepsi, you're participating in the humiliation and the ridicule of Islam and that more experiments will confirm this, at which time a decision will be made on the permissibility of Pepsi under the shari'a. These folks seem to suggest the conspiracy is partly proven by Pepsi's insistence on shipping the basic ingredients as a powder to its bottling plants, and not to disclose the ingredients of the powder when asked. apparently in this part of the cyberworld the only reason to protect a trade secret is to hide the distribution of pork to Muslims.

In a few of the blogs, the rumor gets sillier. Pepsi is an acronym for "Pay every penny to save Israel", they say. Pepsi was created 1898. The Balfour Declaration came in 1917. Herzl had only written the Jewish State two years earlier, the first Zionist Congress met in 1897. You've got to get pretty thick into anti-Semitic conspiracies to make Pepsi that prescient.

I guess that the rabbis who certify Pepsi kosher are also part of the conspiracy.

Jews know that a boycott is just the beginning

BDS claims it protests against Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, and models itself on the anti-apartheid boycott of South Africa.
But polls show that the Jewish community believes it to constitute anti-Semitism. Why?
First, BDS aims to eradicate Israel completely – its founder, Omar Barghouti, openly declared that “we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine”.
Second, the boycotters target the Jewish state alone. BDS does not go after any other liberal democracy or British ally, let alone any dictatorship; only Israel, the Jew among nations.
Third, wherever BDS surfaces, it is accompanied by harassment of Jews – whether it’s Jewish students who retreat from campus life for fear of intimidation, or kosher food being forcibly removed from supermarket shelves, or Jewish trade union members who see their unions become vehicles for anti-Jewish hate, or a Jewish-American reggae performer being booted from a music festival.
Fourth, anyone remotely sensitive to Jewish history will know that boycotts have been the instrument of Jewish persecution for a millennium. If “never again” is to mean anything, it is that BDS cannot be tolerated in a decent and civilised society.

PMW: Fatah draws map of "Palestine" with blood of terrorist

Abbas' Fatah and the Palestinian Authority never miss an opportunity to demonstrate to their people that their vision of "the State of Palestine" encompasses all of Israel, leaving little meaning to Abbas' claim that he accepts the two-state solution, which he repeats when addressing international forums.
