EoZ is a finalist for the Weblog Awards

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this blog has been nominated as a finalist for the 2006 Weblog Awards under the "Best Middle East or Africa Blog" category. Being considered as a finalist among the tens of thousands of blogs that are out there is a huge honor, and I'd like to thank those who nominated this blog and got it to the final round. Congrats also to David Bogner at Treppenwitz which is the only other JBlogger nominated. (Of course, he and the other nominees have the advantage of actually being in the Middle East or Africa.)
