Palestine Press Agency reports that the Palestinian Ministry of Health has condemned Hamas for not allowing injured Gaza children to travel to Egypt for medical treatment.
This is not the first time that Hamas refused allowing sick people from going to Egypt. Hamas has previously stopped patients from traveling to Israel for treatment. They also prevented patients from going to an Israeli field hospital after Cast Lead.
Interestingly, the Palestinian Ministry of Health still maintains a list of "martyrs" who died in Gaza from medical conditions as a result of the "Israeli blockade." Even when they admit that Hamas stops patients from getting treated, and that Egypt only rarely opens the Rafah crossing for patients, for the purposes of the body count they only blame Israel.
