Tell the West what they want to hear, play the wishful-thinkers in Israel and the US and Eurabia like an instrument, make sure that nothing is done, and throw up your arms and say "I have no control over the militants! And if I, a moderate, crack down on them - then I won't have any power at all! I'm your only hope for peace but don't expect me to actually do anything or I won't be able to help you!"
