Here's a taste:
Joshua became the leader of the Hebrews after the death of Moses around 1086 BC. He crossed the River Jordan and surrounded Jericho. He then entered the city, burning it and killing its inhabitants. Joshua and his people continued to annihilate the Canaanites and he was able to bring a great portion of the Canaanite cities under his authority. When Joshua died, the elders took charge of the Hebrews and this era was known as the period of the “Judges”, which lasted for 150 years. Saul was later elected their King and consequently a Jewish Kingdom was established around the year 1020 BC.Yes, Jews were genocidal usurpers on other people's land even then!
We can be sure that the PLO will exert all efforts to preserve any artifacts of Jewish history they come across.
Just like their people do on the Temple Mount.
And it is heartwarming to know that Hamas is equally concerned about preserving history:
A Hamas spokesman on Monday lauded admission of Palestine as a full member in UNESCO, saying the move would help protect Palestinian heritage and holy sites.
"Hamas congratulates Palestine on this important step for the Palestinian cause," spokesman Fawzi Barhoum told Ma'an after a Paris conference voted to admit Palestine to the UN's cultural agency.
UNESCO admission affirms Palestinian rights to their heritage in Palestine and Jerusalem, the spokesman said, adding that it would help counter Israeli violations of Palestinian holy sites, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem.
