Israeli occupation began importing aluminium from Bahrain, Manama-based newspaper al-Ayam reported on Sunday, citing an interview with Eitan Na’eh, the Zionist ambassador to Bahrain.“We have already started buying aluminium from Bahrain, and I am sure this aspect will see growth in purchasing rates,” he added.Bahrain Aluminium is one the largest smelters in the Middle East region. However, the ambassador did not specify the quantities or the value of Israel’s aluminium imports from BahrainIsrael’s airline El Al should start flights to Manama soon, Na’eh said, according to the newspaper. Bahrain’s Gulf Air in September announced the launch of direct flights to Tel Aviv, according to the newspaper.The occupation ambassador also said that in the near future, An air transport agreement will be launched that will allow the transport of goods from ships docked in Bahrain to aircraft bound for occupied Palestine.
