Arabic media is quoting Yediot Aharonot as saying that Hamas prisoners rejected a potential swap for Gilad Shalit.
According to the report, a German-mediated plan involving 970 prisoners was approved by Hamas leadership in discussions in Cairo and Damascus. When the plan was sent to the leaders of Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails, they rejected it, saying that they would rather stay in prison for years rather than accept this plan.
