From Israel's MFA in February, 2016:
Since then, Israel has appointed the first female Qadi judge:

We have lots of ideas, but we need more resources to be even more effective. Please donate today to help get the message out and to help defend Israel.
President of Israel Reuven Rivlin (9 February 2016) addressed a ceremony at the President's Residence marking the appointment of seven new Qadis - judges in the Muslim religious (Shariah) courts in Israel. The event was attended by Justice Minsiter Ayelet Shaked MK, as well as the President of the Shariah Court of Appeal Qadi Daoud Zini, and saw the appointment of two Shariah Court of Appeal judges, and five who will serve in the regional Shariah Courts.
The President began by congratulating all the newly appointed judges and said, "Your appointment today serves directly and tangibly the entire Muslim community of Israel. The ceremony today is especially poignant and special, as the last such appointment ceremony for Qadis held at the President's Residence was more than six years ago. Your swearing in today is a tribute to the important work of the appointment committee, whom I wish to personally thank. The new forces joining the Shariah judiciary today refresh and bring new strength and spirit to one of the oldest and most important judicial systems in the State of Israel."
The President stressed, "The existence of the state-supported Shariah courts in Israel, reflects the recognition of the unparalleled importance of the vitality of communities, cultures and traditions to the fabric of the life in the modern state. The authority of the Shariah courts - as assured by Israeli law - to me reflects the fundamental principle that an attachment to faith, to tradition, to a culture and community, is not solely the issue of the individual. Such affiliations are a basic right of a citizen in a democracy, and accordingly it is the obligation of the state to support and nurture them."
Since then, Israel has appointed the first female Qadi judge:

Eden Elena is the 17-year old Ethiopian X-Factor contestant we mentioned earlier this month not only for her singing but also for how the audience reacted to her discussing her background and her commitment to coexistence between Jews, Muslims and Christians.
Last night, she won.
Here is her rendition of "Human" after her victory.
This seems appropriate as it happens shortly before of the annual two-month long "Israel Apartheid Week" slander on college campuses.
All the "Apartheid?" posters can be seen here.

When the intelligentsia of the world tried to argue against the US recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, their arguments fell into three categories:
One, by supposedly Zionist left wing Jews, was that while ultimately part of Jerusalem would be Israel's capital, now was not the right time to make such a declaration.
Two, often made by diplomats and Middle East "experts," was that the move would make Arabs very, very, very angry and would ignite the region into a huge terror war.
Three, made by the Palestinians and their Arab allies to the West, was that such a move would destroy any chance for peace.
It's funny, because those same arguments are used all the time to stop anything happening that Palestinian Arabs (or Arabs altogether) don't want.

I received a very typical Twitter response to my earlier article about the high life expectancy of Israeli Arabs: "Does that legitimise occupation?"
I've noted in the past that many people, when looking at Israel, wear "occupation glasses." Nothing else matters. If the information they receive is bad, then it is the "occupation"'s fault, if it is good then it is being used to divert attention from the "occupation."
The Israel-haters think that they have a slam dunk when mentioning "occupation" - it is their shorthand for repression, injustice, and colonialism.
For some reason Israel doesn't do a good enough job when answering this. So here is a short response that works wonders:
If there was a Palestinian state, there would be no "occupation."
And the ONLY reason there is no Palestinian state is because the Palestinian leadership has rejected every offer for one.
Every time.
Pointing this irrefutable fact out does a number of things. It shows that Israel doesn't want to control another people, it shows that Israel wants peace, and it shows that Palestinians prefer "occupation" to statehood.
Moreover, it puts the Israel-hater on the defensive, forced to stutter that the peace offers weren't good enough or whatever. To which the response is....then the "occupation" cannot really be so bad, can it?
When forced to answer this simple observation, the Israel-haters show that they don't want a state either. They will say that a state without Jerusalem or without "return" of "refugees" - not to Palestine, but to Israel - is not worth it.
Showing that they don't really care about "occupation" but about destroying Israel.
In the 1930s and 1940s, Zionists said they would accept a state the size of a handkerchief. They accepted a UN partition plan that wrested Jerusalem from them. They desperately needed a state for the Jews to live in without fear of being murdered.
Palestinians, however, don't have any sense of urgency in their supposed quest for a state. They are willing to wait decades.
If that is true, then they are the ones who are prolonging 'occupation," not Israel.

Yes, Rachael was guilty of "cultural genocide" by calling some salads that are popular in Israel, "Israeli."Damn it @rachaelray. This is cultural #genocide. It’s not #Israeli food. It’s #Arab (#Lebanese, #Palestinian, #Syrian, #Jordanian). First the Israelis take the land & ethnically cleanse it of Arabs. Now they take their food & culture & claim it’s theirs too! #Shame. https://t.co/1nDXlcfRHA— James J. Zogby (@jjz1600) December 26, 2017

As has been well reported, this by HuffPost:
The Jewish activist, Justine Sachs, made her Twitter account private when people started looking at her extremist positions on - well, everything. I grabbed this screenshot of two of her recent tweets showing that she is against all nation-states and she would love for everyone to boycott the US as well:
I tweeted Lorde asking if she would also take Sachs' advice to boycott the US. After all, this should be part of her research, right?
Here's what Lorde's calculus really is. The fear of death threats for playing Israel against no fear at all for listening to the haters. (I tweeted this earlier):
Bravery is doing the right thing, not to submit to threats (and breaking agreements) while pretending to take the moral high ground. An appeal to not hurt Palestinians' feelings, as if they really care about another concert in Israel, means more to her than hurting the feelings of her Jewish (former) fans, because the Palestinians might decide to send a few letter bombs her way and the Jews - won't.
And you can be sure that this ignorant singer who finds arguments from anarchist haters to be convincing is way too proud to admit that she did make the wrong call on this one.
(I was pleased, though, to see that one of Israel's supporters used a poster of mine on Lorde's Facebook page as people argued about this.)
We have lots of ideas, but we need more resources to be even more effective. Please donate today to help get the message out and to help defend Israel.
Grammy-award winner Lorde has canceled a planned concert in Israel following backlash over the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians.
The concert was scheduled for June, but pro-Palestinian activists reached out to the 21-year-old New Zealand pop star to complain, and urged her to join a growing boycott movement against Israel.
Two activists from New Zealand, one Palestinian and one Jewish, wrote an open letter to Lorde decrying the treatment of Palestinians. They noted that it’s a particularly difficult time for Palestinians now “after the Trump administration’s decision to move” the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in an apparent bid to shut down debate about who has rights to the city.
“A performance in Israel sends the wrong message,” writer Justine Sachs and teacher Nadia Abu-Shanab wrote in the letter. “Playing in Tel Aviv will be seen as giving support to the policies of the Israeli government, even if you make no comment on the political situation.”
The pleas were effective with Lorde.

Hey @lorde , the person who you thought made such great points about Israel also would love everyone to boycott the United States. Will you listen to her?— ElderOfZiyon (@elderofziyon) December 25, 2017
Or is your newfound morality (based on info from someone filled with hate) limited to the Jewish state? pic.twitter.com/ELy9yc7qr8
Of course, no answer on Lorde's side.
But Lorde did claim a mantle of bravery for succumbing to BDS pressure (which, as we've seen in the past, usually includes naked threats:
“Hey guys, so about this Israel show,” she said in a statement reported by The Jerusalem Post. “I’ve received an overwhelming number of messages and letters ... and I think the right decision at this time is to cancel the show. I’m not too proud to admit I didn’t make the right call on this one. I’m truly sorry to reverse my commitment to come play for you. I hope one day we can all dance.”So Lorde says she did research before her show, and then a letter from a person who wants to see the US destroyed was considered credible enough to make her change her mind?
Here's what Lorde's calculus really is. The fear of death threats for playing Israel against no fear at all for listening to the haters. (I tweeted this earlier):

Before putting on her hijab, Linda Sarsour admits she was white. Now she claims to be a "person of color." Neat trick! @lsarsour pic.twitter.com/4km7rs0sjj— ElderOfZiyon (@elderofziyon) September 4, 2017
My tweet with the video of Linda Sarsour saying that she was an "ordinary white girl" before putting on her hijab has gone viral, with over 2,200 retweets and 3,700 "likes." According to Twitter Analytics, the tweet has been viewed over 350,000 times.
The story was picked up by two news sites, the Daily Wire and the Washington Standard.
So for no good reason, I decided to make a poster for the formerly white girl who thinks an article of clothing makes her a spokesperson for people of color.

Leftists are rightly up in arms over David Duke's appearance at the neo-Nazi, white nationalist rally in Charlottesville.
But they are strangely silent when he shows his support for BDS and for Roger Waters.
If you are going to denounce Jew-hatred, you don't get to pick and choose. And if you do, it shows that you are using antisemitism to make a political point, and that you really don't care about antisemitism.
But we already knew that with the silence that most "progressives" have towards officially sanctioned antisemitism by Arab governments, by Palestinians, by UNRWA, and by the Left.

The leader of the campaign to boycott Israel was arrested by Israeli authorities on Monday for allegedly failing to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income, Globes reported.
Omar Barghouti, a co-founder of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, is suspected of evading taxes on some $700,000 that he earned between 2007 to 2017 while serving as the director of the Ramallah-based National Computing Resources, which markets and rents ATMs and other technology within the Palestinian Authority.
Barghouti, who resides in the Israeli city of Acre, deposited the money in a Ramallah bank account to hide it from tax authorities, according to the charges. He is also believed to have deposited income from a global speaking tour and book royalties in a bank account in the United States, which was similarly hidden from authorities.
Police say that credit cards and transaction records found at his house support their suspicions.
