The 200-page report shows that almost 75% of the examined teaching materials present a one-sided anti-Israel, polarising narrative with antisemitic elements. This material distorts facts, introduces conspiracy theories and demonizes Israel, which according to the organizations often leads to antisemitism. This content violates the educational objectives of both Flanders and the French-speaking community, which emphasise objectivity and the avoidance of political agendas. The report has several examples. For example, one resource asks students to list three reasons “Why
are the Jews not loved?" which presupposes that there are good reasons for antisemitism.
Another resource for students on the Israel-Palestinian conflict uses this cartoon:
Or this Latuff cartoon, one of many of his that compare Palestinians to Holocaust victims.
