The Jordanian Agriculture Ministry has no tools to stop anyone from selling or reselling those vegetables to anyone who wants them, and according to the article, Israel has suffered a shortage of the vegetables since the Gaza war - both because of no imports from Gaza and the reduction of shipping through the Red Sea. The Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hanifat, told the brokers that they should be ashamed of themselves. But the law does not allow him to interfere in exports of tomatoes and cucumbers.
