summer of 1920, which seems a lot like what happened in the UAE exactly a hundred years later.
Even more remarkably,
in 1923 that same newspaper started issuing a weekly Hebrew supplement, "HsShofer." The newspaper said it "hopes thereby to create a better understanding and more friendly relations between the Jews and the Arabs."
