Emily Schrader is a social media expert and has been fighting online antisemitism for much of her adult life. We discuss online antisemitism, her questions to Twitter and Facebook at the Knesset (and Twitter’s shocking answer,) and more.
We discussed black antisemitism, Bari Weiss, why the New York Times allows its editorial page to be so far Left, and Peter Beinart.
This was right before Viacom/CBS announced they will fire Nick Cannon. I expressed frustration that the mainstream media had not yet covered the Cannon story that I was pushing so hard since Sunday; Dovid assured me that nowadays bloggers are often the ones who are the real news sources and the MSM will inevitably follow. He was proven right within an hour after the show aired - clearly Viacom/CBS didn't wait for any newspapers or wire services to carry the story before deciding to fire him. (As of this writing, British newspapers, entertainment media and Time magazine have the story.)
I had the privilege of interviewing well-known Israel advocate Hen Mazzig today on EoZTV. We spoke about the Peter Beinart kerfuffle, Black Lives Matter and Israel, intersectionality, the terror attack Hen witnessed as a child, his experiences in the Israeli army for COGAT in Hebron, "annexation," his optimism about the future for Israel in the Middle East and and the importance of Jewish pride in Israel.
Last night’s EoZTV was with Josh Block of JINSA to discuss a new report by that thinktank on the importance of the Jordan Valley to Israel’s security, and the expected political fallout from any extension of sovereignty that Israel may do there.
Steven L. Pomerantz is the Director of the Homeland Security Program at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) and a former #3 at the FBI. He created one of the popular police exchange programs between the US and Israel (there are three of them).
We spoke of course about the lies of Jewish Voice for Peace about those programs and what those programs actually teach. Besides that, we also spoke about US law enforcement in general, police morale when people talk about defunding police, what kinds of positive changes could be made to US police departments, how cutting their budgets could affect Jews, and a little about the FBI’s cooperation with Israel.
I read it a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. Neumann here gives a good overview of how “Tikkun Olam” became considered a major Jewish precept, when it is nothing of the sort, and in fact is simply another term for “social justice.”
I just finished an EoZTV interview with Gerald Steinberg, founder of NGO Monitor.
We spoke about their work in exposing to European funders of anti-Israel NGOs the terrorist connections of many of their major members, and went into some specifics about anti-Israel NGOs like Human Rights Watch, Defense for Children International-Palestine, Miftah, Al Haq, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Gisha and others – many of which I have discussed in detail on this site.
This is an entertaining and wide-ranging interview with the witty Brian of London about current events, indigenous rights for Jews and, of all things, a lawsuit against Twitter, Facebook and Google.
Although we had technical problems – no video and the audio is a bit hard to hear – it is very worthwhile to listen to J.E. Dyer’s take on the current unrest, the potential role of the National Guard or US Army, Israel’s riot control expertise, the military/strategic importance of the Golan and the Jordan Valley, the cyberhack of Iran’s major port and its implications for future cyberwar, and what she thinks of both Biden and Trump as commanders in chief.
I spoke to him on Sunday about his work and his opinions. We discussed the current unrest in the US, the white supremacy and racism in the Left, and how his opponents try to pain him as a racist.
Mrs. Elder asked me if I would create some videos with the basics of the conflict between Israel and the Arab world, so this is the first result. I discuss with her the different major terror groups, their different philosophies, how they work together and compete, and their “specialties.”
I thoroughly enjoyed last night's EoZTV interview with historian and scholar Raymond Ibrahim, whose provocative views on Islam have gotten him labeled a "white supremacist" by CAIR - even though his family is Egyptian Copt.
We spoke about the Muslim view of Jerusalem, why Muslims are more upset over Jews controlling land in Israel than Christians having regained Spain, the violent spread of Islam through North Africa and Europe through its early centuries , Muslim "unity," whether there is any real Muslim legacy in philosophy, arts and science, and most provocatively whether Islam's violent mindset as prescribed in the later teachings of the Quran can be changed.
Last night on EoZTV I interviewed Jonathan S. Tobin, editor in chief of JNS and writer in numerous publications. We spoke about Mahmoud Abbas' folly, King Abdullah's choice, whether Israel will extend sovereignty over parts of the territories, Joe Biden's likely stance on Israel if he would become president and the difference between the Israeli left and J-Street.
This is a must-view video. Arnold Roth discusses the murder of his daughter in 2001 in the Sbarro pizza shop massacre and his quest for justice for her murderer, Ahlam Tamimi, living as a celebrity in Jordan.
Apologies, for some reason the sound did not work for the YouTube clip at the end where Pessin is the "Genius" on David Letterman. You can see the entire clip here:
We have lots of ideas, but we need more resources to be even more effective. Please donate today to help get the message out and to help defend Israel.
This blog may be a labor of love for me, but it takes a lot of effort, time and money. For over 14 years and 30,000 articles I have been providing accurate, original news that would have remained unnoticed. I've written hundreds of scoops and sometimes my reporting ends up making a real difference. I appreciate any donations you can give to keep this blog going.
