Chris Gunness of UNRWA said that his organization takes reports ofviolations of neutrality by its staff very seriously. But it is not difficult to find postings by UNRWA teachers that violate those standards.

And there is no indication that UNRWA is doing anything beyond lip service.

Today's example comes from UNRWA teacher Mohamed Elayan, of Jordan.

He wants to see Arabs in the West Bank start a new intifada. And not a peaceful one, either.

The (West) Bank is rising up for Gaza

A call for every honorable patriot in the (West) Bank of honor: let us shake [intifada]  for the blood that is being spilt in Gaza, and let our blood unite and our souls embrace in the heavens, let us set out every day to defend our umma (nation) and fight the soldiers of the enemy everywhere.

Places of confrontations:

In black letters it lists Jerusalem, Ramallah, Jenin, Qalqiliya, Hebron, Nablus, Betlehem, and Tul Karem.

Underneath each are specific places to attack, for example, the places mentioned for Ramallah are: Ni’ilin, the Ofer gate (the entrance to the Ofer Prison), the Atarot checkpoint, Bi’ilin, Nabi Saleh,, Qalandiya checkpoint ans Sinjil.

This UNRWA teacher is handing out a lesson plan for war.

UNRWA employee Thaer Khalil likes to post photos of little kids with big guns.

Like this:

The caption for this that he wrote is:

No room to embrace childhood in Palestine, you are either part of the resistance, or you are not alive!!

Which means that he wants every child who is old enough to barely hold a weapon to fight Israel.

Is this the message that UNRWA employees tell the children in their charge?

Well...yes.

On the same day that four rabbis were murdered while at prayer in Har Nof, Jerusalem, UNRWA teacher Eiad Hindi posted this:

The text says:
This is the way
#Intifada_of_Jerusalem
#Jerusalem's_Elite
The time is near, oh Jerusalem

Will UNRWA condemn this posting? They sure haven't condemned any of the many others I've uncovered!

And I still have more...

My series of UNRWA teachers who publicly advocate positions that are against UNRWA 's stated standards continues....

Fuad Abd AlRahim ("the merciful") is a  teacher for UNRWA in Jordan. He featured this graphic:

"We will return, no matter how long it takes"

This is directly against UN's support for a two state solution, And  it is what UNRWA teachers emphasize to their kids.

Remember that many UNRWA schools themselves incorporate maps of "Palestine" in their very logos that eliminate Israel - some of them with the UN logos prominently displayed alongside their explicit desire to destroy a UN member state:

Thursday, September 03, 2015

On Facebook, there is a community page called UNRWA Schools International - Jordan.

It is probably not an official UNRWA page, although it uses the UNRWA logo and is meant for UNRWA school employees in Jordan.

And this page is run by one of those UNRWA employees, Moh Sarrar.

On this page, there are tributes to Hamas co-founders Abdel Aziz Rantisi and Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

And Yahya Ayyash, the "engineer" to pioneered suicide bombings.

And mass murderer Dalal Mughrabi (text autotranslated)

Another UNRWA teacher, O Abd Halim Battah, also has a thing for terrorists:

His timeline also has lots of photos of his UNRWA school and of educational materials. He is no "imposter."

The evidence against UNRWA is mounting by the day. The media is starting to notice. Chris Gunness' lies are becoming more outrageous. And the pressure is only going to increase until UNRWA decides to do the right thing and attack the problem, not the people reporting the problem.

UPDATE: The UNRWA Schools group was taken down, and so was the image on the other teacher page.

Yesterday I was interviewed by TheBlaze about my research into UNRWA's online hate.

The news site nicely went through all of my research since 2012 revealing UNRWA's violations of its own policies:

The author of a pro-Israel blog who has been investigating United Nations’ employee Internet activity said he has found numerous anti-Semitic and jihad-encouraging posts from U.N. school principals and teachers.

In response to the allegations, a spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency Wednesday asserted that three postings it examined were from “imposter” accounts.

“We always investigate credible reports of neutrality violations by our staff and take appropriate action, including disciplinary action where violations by UNRWA staff members are established,” UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness told TheBlaze in an email, adding that the organization condemns “unreservedly” exhibitions of racism. He declined when asked to forward two of the offensive posts that he described as containing “racists incitement.”

If any of the allegations are true, Gunness told Israel’s Channel 10 earlier this week, “it is indeed a very big problem, and we will deal with it.”
Imposter accounts?

Let's look at the person who posted the antisemitic graphic I pointed out on Monday, Ramy Alshorbasy, making fun in Arabic of Jews being targeted by terrorists in cars:

As I noted then, his photo collection includes dozens of photos taken at his UNRWA school.

He lists scores of UNRWA employees among his many online friends.

His UNRWA affiliation is not by any measure the primary way he identifies himself, he has many posts on many topics.

You are invited to browse his page yourself. To pretend that it is an elaborate hoax, among scores of other people pretending to be UNRWA employees who also happen to post antisemitic and pro-terror images, is one of the most bizarre excuses I can imagine.

Yet Chris Gunness would rather make that claim than admit that there are serious problems with UNRWA teachers and staff.

The rest of the Blaze article is very good too. Excerpts from my interview:

One of the more incendiary images a pro-Israel blogger found posted on the Facebook page that appeared to be by an UNRWA employee. It showed a stereotypical Jew draining the blood of a child. UNRWA’s spokesman declined to comment to TheBlaze about this or 11 other images forwarded by a U.N. watchdog to the international organization. (Image courtesy: Elder of Ziyon blog)

It shows a Jew draining the blood of a child, using a stars and stripes fork. UNRWA’s spokesman declined to comment to TheBlaze about this or 11 other images forwarded by a U.N. watchdog to the international organization. (Image courtesy: Elder of Ziyon blog)
“I have discovered dozens of examples of jihadist, anti-Semitic and even pro-Hitler posts on Facebook by UNRWA employees. And I find more every day,” the author of the Elder of Ziyon blog told TheBlaze.
Since starting his probe in 2012, the blogger has found posts including Jews drinking the blood of Palestinian children, Palestinians running over Jews, Jews portrayed in stereotypically negative ways, anti-Jewish citations from Islamic texts, and incitement to terrorism.
The blogger said that nearly every time he has exposed the virulent posts and alerted the U.N. agency, they have been “silently removed” from the Internet without a public acknowledgement or apology from UNRWA.
The pro-Israel blogger Elder of Ziyon last week found this photo on another apparent UNRWA teacher’s Facebook promoting Palestinian violence. (Image courtesy: Elder of Ziyon blog)
The pro-Israel blogger Elder of Ziyon last week found this photo on another apparent UNRWA teacher’s Facebook promoting Palestinian violence. (Image courtesy: Elder of Ziyon blog)
Accusing the U.N. agency of exhibiting “reprehensible” behavior, the blogger said some teachers and principals “are not embarrassed in the least about their explicit anti-Semitism.”
“There is no doubt that their attitudes are being given over to their students, many of whom become UNRWA teachers themselves,” he said.
The blogger in 2012 found an elementary school lesson posted online that appeared to glorify jihad “against the Jews and the Crusaders” and the beauty of becoming a “martyr.” He said that after his post, the link was “silently removed.”
He also found that in both 2013 and 2014, UNRWA schools in Gaza apparently claimed to cite an Islamic text to support a clean schools initiative by suggesting it was a way they differentiate themselves from unclean Jews.
As an aside, the blogger pointed out that some of the students were being taught Koran at the U.S.-funded U.N. schools, even though some of the students are Palestinian Christians. The Bible is not taught in American taxpayer-funded U.S. public schools, but at least some students at the Palestinian schools were studying with Koran teachers.
I'm keeping the pressure on UNRWA - more and more people are waking up to the fact that the system is based on lies that they tell the West, and this scandal proves it in a way that anyone can check the facts for themselves.
Last November 19, the day after Arab terrorists murdered four rabbis with axes and knives as they were praying in Jerusalem,, UNRWA teacher Omar Hussein posted this "joke" on Facebook:

The caption has the Jewish man saying "Oh Lord, let me die (as a result) of a stroke, and not (as a result) of an ax" - which rhymes in Arabic.

The second commenter, Mohammed Abu Amra, said "Amen" and added other methods to kill Jews.

Abu Amra says that he works for UNRWA as well as a technology education manager. He also posted a photo of a young girl with an automatic weapon with the caption "Everything in Gaza is beautiful."

Does UNRWA condone its teachers laughing about the murder of rabbis? Based on their lack of action from the other disgusting Facebook posts I have uncovered, one can only conclude that the answer is "yes."

And their claims to take these charges seriously is nothing but a smokescreen for their underlying antisemitism.

UNRWA's Chris Gunness did not want to get on Hillel Neuer's bad side.

Since Gunness essentially threatened UN Watch on Twitter, Hillel has been nearly as obsessed with proving Gunness is a hypocrite as, well, me.

Yesterday, Neuer was on WSJ video news.slamming Gunness.

Today, UN Watch issued another press release based partially on my research:

GENEVA, September 1, 2015 - UN Watch today expressed alarm at Facebook posts by UNRWA officials (see sample below) that openly incite to antisemitism and terrorism, and urged UNRWA chief Pierre Krähenbühl to take immediate action by terminating the officials, and issuing an apology.

“The pattern and practice of UNRWA school principals, teachers and staff members posting antisemitic and terror-inciting images suggests a pathology of racism and violence within UNRWA that must be rooted out, not buried, as UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness has attempted to do by calling for boycotts of newspapers or NGOs that report these incidents of hate,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, a non-governmental Geneva watchdog organization.

“The UN must recognize that these disgusting posts, published on Facebook accounts run by people who identify themselves as UNRWA officials, constitute a gross violation of Article 20 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which prohibits “incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence,” said Neuer.

“Enough of the UNRWA strategy of impunity, denial and deflection. It’s time for the perpetrators to be held to account. They must be fired, immediately.”

Also today, they linked to the video of my interview on Israel's Channel 10 about UNRWA

UNWRA spokesperson Chris Gunness promised to fire UNRWA officials who promote antisemitic violence, a pledge that will be put to the test this week as UN Watch submits detailed evidence of such incitement to the United Nations.

Gunness’ comments were made in response to information documented two weeks ago by the blogger Elder of Ziyon.

Gunness’ comments, recorded at 4:00 in the video above, from August 19, 2o15:

If there are allegations, and if this is true, it is indeed a very big problem, and we will deal with it. Where we find credible allegations of neutrality violations among our staff, we investigate and where it’s appropriate we take disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. And that process is audited by our major donors, with the United States and the European Union who are the biggest suporters of Israel on the international stage.

Which clearly UNRWA isn't doing, nor do they have any intention of doing that unless forced to by public pressure.

Which means that UNRWA does not take these allegations seriously at all.

I'm working on other angles to publicize UNRWA's hypocrisy, but meanwhile the independent petition to investigate Gunness keeps on adding signatures.
From the Facebook page of Tahani Jamal, UNRWA English teacher :

The quote says:

"A woman carried a weapon. People asked her: 'Where is your femininity?' She said: 'It went looking for your manhood.'"

Given that this was posted last summer, the message is that the men in Gaza were not doing a good enough job and women must join in to fight Israel.

She has other similar messages.

How many more examples do I need to show of UNRWA teachers expressing opinions that should get them disciplined or fired, according to UNRWA's own statements?

I have plenty more.

The more you look at Chris Gunness, UNRWA's spokesperson, the worse he appears.

I have been proving that Gunness lied on Israeli TV when he claimed:
Where we find credible allegations of neutrality violations among our staff, we investigate and where it's appropriate we take disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. And that process is audited by our major donors.
Yet there is no evidence of UNRWA ever taking the many, many examples I have uncovered of UNRWA staff bias, support for terror, antisemitism, and pro-Hitler comments seriously. On the contrary, all we have seen is lots of attempts at obfuscation, coverups and more baldfaced lies by trying to distance UNRWA from its own employees. Gunness cares about UNRWA's reputation, to be sure, but he doesn't give a damn about the hate that is endemic in the agency itself.

And neither does his boss, Pierre Krähenbühl.

But pressure is starting to build up against Gunness, and Gunness is starting to act erratically as a result. in just the last week he lashed out at UN Watch and NGO Monitor, asking his fellow Israel-haters to help him find dirt on those organizations. He gave friendly PR advice to someone who calls Israelis "ZioNazis." (He removed that tweet after I slammed him for it, without apology or explanation.)

Now, there are new efforts to remove Gunness from his position.

A petition was started on Saturday night for the UN to investigate Gunness.
Unfortunately, UNRWA has fallen prey to increasingly polarized and biased rhetoric, pushed more and more often by its own spokespersons. While Israel has raised concerns about Mr. Gunness in the past [2], there has been no action taken to ensure that Mr. Gunness is returned to the realm of unbiased behavior befitting a human development agency whose mandate, he admits, must include neutrality.

Hundreds have signed on so far.

UN Watch, meanwhile, has publicly called on Pierre Krähenbühl to fire UNRWA officials who espouse hate based on a small sample of the evidence i have discovered:

UN Watch today expressed alarm at Facebook posts by UNRWA officials (see sample below) that openly incite to antisemitism and terrorism, and urged UNRWA chief Pierre Krähenbühl to take immediate action by terminating the officials, and issuing an apology.

Enough of the UNRWA strategy of impunity, denial and deflection. It’s time for the perpetrators to be held to account. They must be fired, immediately.”
And I have many more examples of UNRWA staff acting against UNRWA's neutrality principles. Not all of them are as egregiously antisemitic, but many call for violence, supportterror and show the desire to destroy Israel, all against UN positions.

If Gunness continues on his path of cover-ups and denials, he is setting UNRWA up to look even worse than it does. But clearly Chris Gunness has no desire to actually fix the problems.

Because he knows that if UNRWA would fire every employee who supports terrorism and violence against Israelis and Jews, there would be a severe shortage of staff left at UNRWA altogether.

But in the end, as Gunness' tweets, show, the UNRWA spokesperson supports the goals of its employees to destroy the Jewish state, which is why he will never do anything to help fix the agency. UNRWA's entire goal is to perpetuate the myth of never-ending refugee status among millions of people who cannot properly be called refugees. The reason is because UNRWA itself wants to see the destruction of Israel via the so-called "right to return" and it has no interest in solving the problem of statelessness among its "refugees."

As long as that is true, we cannot expect any real change at UNRWA. All we can do is shine light on its hypocrisy and tolerance for hate among its own people.
This photo of a religious Jew appeared in the Facebook timeline of UNRWA teacher Ramy Alshorbasy last November:

The Arabic says ""Oh Lord, (let) me die from a stroke, and not run over (by a car)."

He added the comment, "You will die anyway."

Three of his friends commented:
  1. Amen... the most important thing is that you die
  2. Ha-ha-hah-ha
  3. Amen, you son of a Jewess

UNRWA teacher Ramy gave "like"s to all three.

This was during the beginning of the "car intifada."

There is no doubt that Ramy is a UNRWA teacher since he has many photos taken at his UNRWA school.

I saw a similar poster making fun of Jews being axed to death after the Har Nof massacre at a UNRWA educational Facebook group, but UNRWA could claim that the group was not "official."

(h/t Ibn Boutros)

Sunday, August 30, 2015

An UNRWA teacher in Jordan, named Nasreen Hammoud, posted this cartoon on Facebook showing a Jew (with an American fork) cutting up and eating a Palestinian child while drinking his blood.

Does this violate UNRWA's alleged "neutrality" requirements for employees? Of course it does.

Will UNRWA admit that it has a problem with so many employees posting such offensive things on Facebook? Of course not. They will continue to try to sweep it under the rug.

And I will continue to expose them as we have been doing..

Any reporter who needs more details on the research I have been doing, and how it can be reproduced by anyone, can contact me.

Over the weekend, a new piece of Pallywood propaganda was released, as photos of an Israeli soldier attempting to stop a boy from throwing stones went viral but, amazingly, the truth about the boy and his family's history of violence and Pallywood became part of the story. See Israellycool for the full story.

Here's a photo that has surfaced that seems to be of the kid in the arm cast appearing to throw before the  IDF soldier tried to subdue him. (UPDATE: It is a from a YouTube video but his hand appears to be empty.)

Chris Gunness of UNRWA, naturally, tweeted the incident without such context, and one of his fans responded by calling Israelis "jackals" and "ZioNazis":

Gunness responded with some advice to his bigoted follower to be careful in how he or she speaks, because the world doesn't take kindly to people who speak such obvious truths of considering Israelis to be subhuman:

He doesn't denounce his comrade for demonizing Israelis as "ZioNazis."  No, this UNRWA spokesman only gave some advice that the world, unfairly, doesn't like dehumanizing Jews and Zionists the way they deserve to be and that his tweeter should be more careful in how he shows his hate.

According to Gunness, the message is accurate, but it might get sidetracked because of the "zoological imagery" used.

He has nothing bad to say about referring to Israelis as "ZioNazis." He does not distance himself from the comment. No, Chris Gunness only wants to make sure that messages of hate against Israel are couched in more politically correct terms so that the world can be more receptive to anti-Israel propaganda.

This is yet another example of Chris Gunness' "neutrality."

Someone started a petition for the UN to investigate Gunness for violating his agency's own neutrality standards so egregiously.

UPDATE: Gunness removed his tweet, as usual without apology.

Friday, August 28, 2015

Here's another UNRWA official - a principal at the Al-Fukhari Primary School in Khan Younis - who supports terror on Facebook.

Ahmed Fathi Bader posted this "prescription" for sending rockets to Israel:

Name of patient: Ben Gurion Age: 78 years old Male
1 M75 (Hamas rocket) twice a day, a rocket in the morning and a rocket in the evening at 6 o'clock, before eating, together with a warning siren

Bader posted this photo of Hamas executing "collaborators" with the comment:

"How pleased I was today when the execution of a group of collaborators with the Jews it was announced."

I have photos. I have screenshots. I have links. Anyone can check these and find out that it is true for themselves.

And Chris Gunness denies it.

(h/t Bob K)

Thursday, August 27, 2015

Today, Chris Gunness has told The Jerusalem Post that the UNRWA school whose Facebook page I discovered had antisemitic material had nothing to do with UNRWA.

Yeah...someone forged an UNRWA page for a couple of years in hopes that its antisemitism would be discovered by someone like me eventually. Makes perfect sense.

Also:
He also dismissed claims that a staff member in the Palestinian territories had posted anti-Semitic material on a Facebook page.

“The posting on Facebook appears to have been designed to look as if it was posted by an UNRWA staff member but there is no evidence that any UNRWA staff member was involved,” Gunness said.

Separately, Gunness added, UNRWA had written to Facebook about another impostor account, which has since been removed.

“In the last year, upon UNRWA’s request, Facebook has removed or disabled access to over 90 pages and groups using UNRWA’s name and/or our logo without authorization,” Gunness said.
Amazing! All of those posts I discovered from people who identified themselves as UNRWA teachers, many with photos of their schools, really weren't from UNRWA teachers!

Earlier today I posted about how UNRWA promises to investigate any serious allegation of bias on the part of its staff, suggesting that we send examples of such bias to UNRWA and copy their donors in the EU and US to demand an investigation.

Here's one I wrote about last year that was widely tweeted at the time and Chris Gunness didn't do anything - the antisemitism is still on Facebook today.

It would be hard to argue that Mohammed Abu Staita doesn't work for UNRWA. He is friends with many other UNRWA teachers, there are photos of him at professional seminars and in the classroom.

So here is another poster to send to the State Department or Foreign Office demanding that UNRWA live up to its obligations to investigate this UNRWA teacher and publicize its findings and disciplinary action.

This cartoon was not the only one advocating murdering Jews on his page, by the way.

Is this a credible enough allegation, Chris?

I've been tweeting other Facebook pictures from UNRWA teachers that were never removed from when I discovered them last year:

I'm sure they are all fake!

UPDATE: In case Gunness claims that Staita is not an UNRWA employee:

He runs their Respect and Discipline Initiative for his school, the Al-Rimal boys junior high school "A". Here he is:

(h/t Bob K)

In my last post I quoted Chris Gunness on Israeli TV last week:

Where we find credible allegations of neutrality violations among our staff, we investigate and where it's appropriate we take disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. And that process is audited by our major donors.

Since he said that, he tweeted this::

Chris Gunness is trying to dig up dirt on UN Watch because they wrote to the UN Secretary General about the antismeitism posted in a UNRWA school Facebook page that I discovered.

Someone sent him a response, that Gunness immediately sent out to his 36,000 followers:

That link is a long article attempting to smear UN Watch but all it shows is that the organization is partially funded by the American Jewish Committee and that it is pro-Israel. This is, to Gunness, apparently enough to damn UN Watch enough for his readers, but we needs a bit more dirt.

In Chris Gunness' mind, if someone is pro-Israel then their criticisms are not worth responding to.

This is not a one-time thing. In 2009, after an email exchange with me about reports of UNRWA aid being diverted to Hamas, we had this conversation via email:

where do u fit in politically? C
I'm not sure why that is relevant, but you can see from my site that I would be considered a fairly hawkish Zionist. I spend a great deal of time trying to understand the Palestinian Arab psyche, and I am much harsher on their leadership than on the people.
Is there condemnation on your site (which your link didn't get me into) of the white phosphorous attacks on neutral UN compounds? Does it carry the Secretary General statement calling for those responsible to be punished? Chris

I answered, and that was the end of that conversation, but this shows that Gunness treats questions differently depending on the political views of the questioner.

Which is, by definition, a violation of neutrality.

Similarly, Gunness blocks many of his critics on Twitter, which again is against what a spokesperson should do.

We mustn't forget Gunness' pathetic attacks on The Jerusalem Post trying to paint it as "ultra-right" and supporting Jewish terrorism. The UN defended him by denying that he wrote what he wrote.

Based on these well-documented examples, it is clear that Chris Gunness is guilty of what he claims is UNRWA policy against bias and violations of neutrality. As a spokesperson, he must address the issues, not try to divert the issue by smearing the people who point out UNRWA hypocrisy and lies. By his own stated standards, instead of attacking those who point out UNRWA's problems, UNRWA should be investigating them - impartially, and regardless of the source.

Therefore, Chris Gunness is in violation of UNRWA's own neutrality standards. and since there is no chance of an impartial investigation from within UNRWA, he must be disciplined and fired, and UNRWA must hire a spokesperson who actually performs those duties impartially and with respect to all who have legitimate criticisms of the agency.

Fire Chris Gunness now.

Last week, on Israeli TV, in response to my scoop about UNRWA teachers posting pro-terror and pro-Nazi images on Facebook, UNRWA's spokesperson Chris Gunness said words that I am not going to let him forget.

He said:

Where we find credible allegations of neutrality violations among our staff, we investigate and where it's appropriate we take disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. And that process is audited by our major donors.
 -Chris Gunness, UNRWA Spokesperson
August 19, 2015

I have never seen such an audit, which should be transparent and public, from among the many examples I have unearthed of UNRWA staff advocating violence and antisemitism.

So, Chris. here's your chance.

Essam Taybeh, UNRWA teacher, posted this graphic on Facebook (click on thumbnail on right to see the poster with Essam's name and UNRWA affiliation)::

There you have it. An UNRWA teacher is advocating Arab violence as the only legitimate action for Palestinians.

Chris Gunness must do something, because he said he would and that this is UNRWA's policy. Unless he believes that a teacher who openly advocates violence is a proper role model for young Palestinian kids. Or unless he is a liar.

And his major donors, including the US and EU countries, must ensure that UNRWA launches a transparent investigation into Essam Taybeh, and let the world know exactly what was done..

Your move, Chris.

Please email and tweet c.gunness@unwra.org, the UN Secretary General @secgen and your national diplomatic office with this information,

Here's a poster to make it easier:

And I will be keeping Chris busy for the foreseeable future. Because there are lots more, and lots worse, examples. But this one, which only advocates violence, still violates UNRWA's principles, and if the criteria for investigations are "allegations of neutrality violations" then UNRWA will be busy investigating and disciplining teachers for a long time.

Who knows, maybe one day they will actually decide to uphold their own standards rather than keepcovering up what their staff is doing.

Wednesday, August 26, 2015

I saw this Facebook post of a history teacher named Badi Amr in Dura, near Hebron. Unless I'm mistaken, the school he teaches at is an UNRWA school "(مدرسة ذكور دورا (الوكاله" - the word in parenthesis is "Agency" which is often a shorthand for UNRWA.

The post says,
A child innocently asked me ....
-------- "If we succeeded in expelling the Jews from our country where would they go?
And he's still waiting for the answer.

I guess that we can consider them moderate when they aren't willing to tell the young children outright that they plan to throw the Jews in the sea.

The first commenter says, "InshaAllah, a child's dream will be achieved."

UPDATE: The second commenter wrote "We'll prepare the ovens for them."

Not surprisingly, this presumed UNRWA teacher is a fan of terrorism as well.

(h/t Ibn Boutros)

Tuesday, August 25, 2015

On Sunday, I reported that the Facebook page of an UNRWA school had posted antisemitic images and encouraged Arabs to run over Jews with cars.

On Monday, the news was reported in The Tower.

UN Watch sent an official complaint to UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon

Breitbart News reported on the story as well, also referring to my earlier story of UNRWA teachers posting Nazi imagery that was covered by Channel 10 in Israel last week.

By Monday night, the entire Facebook page of the Rameh UNRWA school was gone.

But this isn't a victory. This is a cover-up, one of many that I have exposed by UNRWA over the years.

At least twenty times I have exposed UNRWA hate, antisemitic and  pro-terror articles, poems and essays by UNRWA teachers and even on official UNRWA websites.  Almost invariably, the website would be silently taken down or the affiliation with UNRWA was removed from the social media posts.

But not once has UNRWA admitted that its teachers encourage racism, antosemitism and jihadist terror, despite my screenshots and documents proving it.. Not once has UNRWA issued a statement condemning this behavior. Not once has UNRWA acted in the transparent manner that one would expect an organization funded by the world to act.

Instead, UNRWA - and its spokesperson Chris Gunness in particular - hides their teachers' activities and allows them to continue to act this way, just not as publicly.

An organization that really was dedicated to the principles that UNRWA espouses would proactively aim to clean house. Instead, UNRWA removes the evidence while the problem festers. There is not the slightest indication that any actual disciplining has occurred, ever. Gunness lied on Israeli TV when he said "If there is a suspected breach of neutrality on the part of employees, we will investigate and take significant steps, including dismissal." (He gave an almost identical lie when confronted by a reporter for a similar issue I found in 2013.)

It has never happened. On the contrary - when a UNRWA teachers union sent a letter to the agency officially denying the Holocaust, it was never reported and there were no repercussions.

UNRWA only acts when reporters call them. They read my tweets and instead of jumping to investigate, they do everything they can to hide the evidence.

For a while it was almost comical as I would expose UNRWA hate online and UNRWA would silently take down the websites. But this isn't a game of whack-a-mole - this is proof positive that UNRWA teachers are teaching generations of students to hate Jews, to support terror, to deny or even approve of the Holocaust.

There are no investigation into these incidents by UNRWA. There is only removing the evidence and keeping the teachers happily employed, while asking them to not be so public about their hate to protect their funding.

And pro-terror posts like this one are still to be found on Facebook pages of UNRWA teachers. (In this case the teacher is anonymous, but he lives in Khan Younis.)

UNRWA does not want to fix the problem. They never have. And this proves that UNRWA is the problem that needs to be fixed.

Sunday, August 23, 2015

An UNRWA school in Syria has featured posters encouraging Arabs to kill Jews with cars.

The Rameh school in Damascus has included this poster, which translates to "car intifada - run over"

And also this antisemitic cartoon with the frightened religious Jew running away from a toy car controlled by the happy Palestinian Arab:

This is from the official Facebook page of an UNRWA school, not of individual UNRWA teachers.

Elder of Ziyon - حـكـيـم صـهـيـون

This blog may be a labor of love for me, but it takes a lot of effort, time and money. For over 14 years and 30,000 articles I have been providing accurate, original news that would have remained unnoticed. I've written hundreds of scoops and sometimes my reporting ends up making a real difference. I appreciate any donations you can give to keep this blog going.
