Israel's Channel 10 has reported on my findings that many UNRWA teachers have been posting antisemitic, pro-terror and even pro-Nazi photos and posters on Facebook.

Arutz-7 summarized the Hebrew report:

Teachers working at United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) schools in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon and Jordan have received no disciplinary action for supporting anti-Semitism and terrorism on social media, the Elder of Zion [sic] blog has revealed in an ongoing investigative report.

According to the blog's findings, the teachers often published Facebook posts against the Jewish state and in support of terrorist activity. Even a director of one of UNRWA's schools was complicit, praising a terror attack carried out in 1978.

Other questionable uploads include a picture from Oday Al Masri, an UNRWA teacher in Jenin, featuring a swastika.

The organization responded by telling teachers to tone down the hate-fueled posts, concerned more with its reputation than the terrorism and anti-Semitism its employees were promoting.

In response, several teachers removed their affiliation with UNRWA on their Facebook accounts and/or changed their privacy settings. Several pages, as well as an UNRWA teacher's group featuring jihadist videos, were also taken down.

However, no teachers have been dismissed or even reprimanded for their actions.

In light of Elder of Ziyon's recent update to the scandal, a UNRWA spokesman told Channel 10 that if the reports prove credible, the organization would see the guilty parties were punished.

"If there are any charges, and if this is true, then it's a very big issue and we'll take care of it. If there is a suspected breach of neutrality on the part of employees, we will investigate and take significant steps, including dismissal," the spokesman claimed.
Chris Gunness - the spokesperson here - is lying, as he always does.

We know that UNRWA is aware of my reports about this from last year, and that they pressured teachers to remove their posts or to stop identifying themselves as UNRWA employees. There is no other explanation as to why so many of the posts disappeared right after I would write about them. But now that Israeli media picked up on the story, Gunness is pretending that UNRWA will "investigate and take significant steps, including dismissal."

If there had been any disciplinary action, Gunness would have said so. And if any teacher would have been fired for posting antisemitism on Facvebook, there would have been protests in the UNRWA schools - after all, there was a teacher's strike when UNRWA once tried to suspend a single Hamas member.

So of course UNRWA is aware of this and has ignored it, hoping that no one from the media would contact them.

There is some deja vu here, because in 2013 I also revealed an UNRWA dean of education posting Hitler quotes on his Facebook page. The Washington Free Beacon contacted Chris Gunness who responded very similarly.  And he knows very well that most reporters will not follow up to find out if what exactly UNRWA did to fix the problem.

In that case, as now, the Hitler poster was taken down but the dean still has his job.

In other words, this is another example of an UNRWA coverup of how its teachers regularly flout its own written standards. Gunness and his bosses are not interested in solving the problem, they spend their efforts into getting reporters to go away.

I did speak to the reporter about my findings of antisemitism in UNRWA's own websites, but he decided not to include that.

Here is the video of the Hebrew report, including a short audio clip from me:

Arutz-7's video is here:

Last year I spent a bit of time documenting how UNRWA teachers supported Antisemitism and Terrorism on Facebook .

UNRWA apparently responded by telling teachers to cool it because it was embarrassing. Some teachers removed their affiliation with UNRWA on their pages. An UNRWA teachers' group that had Jihadist videos was taken down , as were  some of the Facebook pages.

But there is no indication of any disciplinary action against teachers who embrace jihad and antisemitism. Any teachers who would have been fired for that would have made it into the Arab media and there would have been protests supporting them. UNRWA cares about its reputation, not about the fact that its teachers love jihad.

They still do.

An UNRWA teacher who uses the name "poor slave" has a number of pro-terror photos:

And Oday AlMasri, an UNRWA teacher in Jenin, likes Nazis, to the delight of his friends:

While UNRWA begs the world for money so they can continue to teach Arabs, there is no transparency as to what exactly the teachers are really teaching their students. You can be sure that these attitudes shine through.

From Facebook:

The quote, which seems fake, says "Inside every human being that you know, there is a beast that you do not know."

It was originally posted on an Arabic Facebook account called "Hitler quotes that rocked humanity."

Mohannad Najem is a geography teacher at UNRWA.

Mohammed Abu Shehda is a teacher at a UNRWA school in Gaza.

He likes violence. A lot.

He wrote as a caption to this photo, "What is taken by force can only be restored by force." I don't think he is interested in a negotiated two-state solution.

When three teenage Israeli boys were kidnapped, he wrote a congratulatory message along with this poster.

Shehda is also a Jew-hater, as he posted this cartoon during the current rash of terror attacks that illustrated the hadith that says that stones and trees will call out to Muslims where the Jews are hiding so they can be properly murdered. This tree is saying "Oh, Muslim, Oh, Servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him."

In this cartoon, Shehda celebrates the murders of religious Jewish worshippers in Jerusalem by showing  a cartoon Palestinian burying a cleaver in the bloodied head of a religious Jew.

You know how Palestinian Arabs claim that they aren't antisemitic and only anti-Zionist?

Well, the "rabbi": in this photo is Yisroel Dovid Weiss, a leader of the rabidly anti-Israel Neturei Karta group!

And this anti-Zionist is the person who is being illustrated as a target for being brutally murdered!

Shehda just wants to kill Jews, not Israelis. He looks for photos of Jews to illustrate his desire to see them killed, even when the Jews hate Israel as much as he does!

Apparently, desiring to bury axes in the heads of every identifiable Jews is a perfect qualification to be an UNRWA teacher. UNRWA  has certainly not lifted a finger to distance themselves from any of this virulent hate in their classrooms and the social media of their teachers since I started identifying it in 2012.

UNRWA teachers have a number of online groups where they share tips and advice on their jobs.

This group of Gaza UNRWA teachers is dedicated to teaching their young charges.

They pass along inspirational messages to each other:

And inspirational jihadist videos:

Name of patient: Ben Gurion    Age: 78 years old  Male
1 M75  (Hamas rocket) twice a day, a rocket in the morning and a rocket in the evening at 6 o'clock, before eating, together with a warning siren
They approve of murdering Gaza "collaborators."

Don't think that these UNRWA teachers don't care deeply about their children. Here they proudly show the ambitions and dreams of the children of Gaza:

Oh, one more thing: UNRWA teachers fully support the idea of murdering millions of Jews.

Here's a (probably apocryphal) quote from one of their heroes:

"I could have killed all the Jews of the world but I left some of them (alive) so that the world knows why I am killing them" - Hitler

These are the teachers that UNRWA is hiring: people who undoubtedly teach Palestinian Arab children that the Holocaust was justified.

And that these same children should continue on in the tradition of their heroes like Adolf Hitler.

Mamoun Abunaser is a principal at an UNRWA school in Syria. His profile picture on Facebook says, "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."

Is it a UN principle for principals to support terror?

Abu Mohammed al-Madhoun is also an UNRWA school principal, heading a school in Gaza . He has this cartoon on his Facebook page, showing a caricature of a religious Jew being imprisoned in a box that is locked with the symbolic Palestinian Arab key.

Luay Shehab is a UNRWA school principal in Nablus. He triumphantly shows photos of dead Israelis on his Facebook page.

UPDATE: The caption says "Oh Allah, make the number of their dead as [every time a Muslim says] "Amen"!

Hassan Zeghan, isn't a principal; he is only a UNRWA teacher in Hebron.  But notably he uses this as his profile picture:

He is also a fan of  Hamas' Qassam Brigades:

And another photo of his gunslinging idols in Hamas:

Continuing on my series that proves that UNRWA teachers actively support terror and war with Israel....

Ali Migdad, a UNRWA teacher in Khan Younis, posts a photo of a baby with a Hamas terrorist headband.

Ayman Nejmeh, a UNRWA teacher in Syria, seems to be a fan of terrorism in a more general sense.

Abo Ahmed Hasan, UNRWA teacher in Lebanon, encourages his students and friends to kidnap Israelis.

Adnan Melhem is a school principal for UNRWA in Syria. One of his heroes is mass murderer Dalal Mughrabi, lovingly depicted here.

Then again, what can you expect from an organization whose "human rights" website included antisemitism and who teaches the kids that Jews are dirty?

Meet Naief Al-Hattab, school director of UNRWA's Zaitoun Elementary School Boys "B" and former school headmaster of Shijia Elementary School Boys "A" for Refugees.

He has met the UN Secretary General, so you know his opinions must be valued by the UN.

Unlike most UN employees in New York and Europe, Naief doesn't seem to be an advocate of gun control:

In fact, he seems to like photos of kids with guns, as he enthusiastically commented on this photo - maybe his own son? - that the subject was a "son of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades!"

Al-Hattab also gave his heartfelt approval to the terror attack yesterday, congratulating the terrorists for their wonderful "revenge."

The UN is such a force for world peace, isn't it?

The series of UNRWA teachers supporting hate continues...

(Latest  in a series)

In the aftermath of today's terror attack, it is reasonable to remember that the incitement to glorify terrorists and hate Jews is inculcated in the young. UNRWA supposedly has some standards they pretend to live up to; other schools that Palestinian kids attend are probably even worse.

Ibrahim Hajjar teaches at a UNRWA school who lives in Hebron. He enthusiastically supported today's terror attack, writing a poem in honor of the murderers.

Even though he lives in the West Bank, he is a big fan of Hamas terrorists..

He also likes photos of dead terrorists.

Do you think his liking of terrorists gets exposed when he teaches?

Hanan Jarad, an UNRWA teacher in Lebanon, doesn't seem to understand what the word "genocide" means. Her grasp of history is also suspect, based on these photos she uploaded to her Facebook page.

Not only does this show a shocking ignorance of the basics of what the Holocaust was, but this teacher isn't even aware of the much worse crimes done by Arabs to other Arabs in Syria, Libya, Yemen and elsewhere.

I don't think UNRWA's Chris Gunness would find these offensive to begin with!

This Syrian UNRWA teacher, who doesn't give his real name, seems to believe that Adolf Hitler has wisdom to impart to him.

The "quote" says "Some believe they are men simply because they are not women." It sounds more like what an Arab with machismo issues would say, rather than Hitler.

Of course, it isn't too hard to find UNRWA teachers who also push clssic Nazi antisemitic stereotypes like Suraiah Fdilat of Hebron:

The supply of material for this series is truly inexhaustible. More tomorrow.

My series continues....

This is the profile photo of Hossam Abu Khaled, UNRWA teacher:

(This photo was originally meant as Chinese propaganda.)

Here's another profile photo, this one from Samir Abu Shmalah - who is a principal of an UNRWA school in Gaza. It includes some famous terrorists, including Dalal Mughrabi.

Mahmoud Hamada, also a teacher for UNRWA, is a fan of Hamas:

This UNRWA teacher in Jordan named Hassan Seghan fully supports Arabs killing Jews by car, "Liking" this poster and putting it on his timeline..

He also has this photo of a Jewish boy, with the caption "Overcome the Jews."

Any questions?

Here are more images taken from UNRWA school teachers' Facebook pages.

Yasmin Zarah, a female school counselor in Jordan:

Mahmoud Mubarkeh, a teacher in Gaza, glorifies rockets:

Samar Khalil, teacher from Gaza, offers this photo:

(They are Kurdish fighters, but she doesn't indicate that she realizes that. A female teacher in Gaza showing a woman with guns is probably not pushing a pro-Kurdish agenda.  h/t BL)

UNRWA's Abed Forani from Ramallah is a big fan of terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, the terrorist responsible for killing 38, including 13 children, in the Coastal Road Massacre.

Alaa Abu Bilal Buhairi, a teacher from Jordan, used this as his profile picture for a while - perhaps his nephew - to great praise from his friends.

These are the people that UNRWA trusts to teach the next generation of Palestinian kids.

And I'm not done.

  • Elder of Ziyon
UNRWA media advisor Adnan Abu Hasna has a high-profile job in Gaza.

Here he is with then-EU foreign affairs head Catherine Ashton:

And with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon:

Here is what the Facebook page of  Adnan Abu Hasna looks like, today:

The photo caption says "A despicable Israeli puts his feet on a Palestinian girl. Let this picture reach the entire world in 24 hours. All you have to do is click 'Share'. "

As we've shown, this photo is fake. it was part of a Bahraini street theater.

The photo with the chain mail caption that Hasna shared was uploaded by Ghad.PS newspaper FB page back on April 17.  Hasna shared it on November 8.

Most of the Arabic comments point out that the photo was fake, mostly because the IDF does not use Russian rifles.

However,  Adnan Abu Hasna didn't bother to read the comments - or he ignored them deliberately. He didn't think twice about forwarding FB "chain mail." He saw an anti-Israel photo, and by Allah, he had to follow the instructions to share it.

And he is a UNRWA media advisor!

Why would UNRWA hire someone as a media advisor who propagates lies so easily?

Oh, right. That's what UNRWA does. Constantly, blatantly, incessantly.

Never mind - dumb question. The real question is how the world tolerates a United Nations agency that disregards the truth so much?

Oh, right. The lies are mostly against Israel. Never mind.

(h/t IronyDome, Ibn Boutros)

UPDATE: It appears I am mistaken. The picture was placed on his timeline by one of his friends. I regret the error. One day I need to learn Facebook. (H/t Bob Knot)
