From Ian:

'Jews Should Live Anywhere in Jerusalem, Without Terror or Fear'
Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich (Yisrael Beytenu) also paid a shiva (condolence) call Friday morning, stating: "There are no words I can say to comfort a young couple who have lost their innocent little daughter."
Chetboun addressed the growing tension in Jerusalem, making clear that "the unbelievable ease with which terror attacks take place in Jerusalem must stop."
He continued, "We must bring back our ability to deter such attacks. It is impossible to deter without holding sovereignty. But we cannot be sovereign without building in Jerusalem, in both the east and the west. Jews should live anywhere in Jerusalem without terror or fear."
Ryan Bellerose: Reality Hits Canada
What we learned this week though, is something I have been saying all along – these people do not differentiate. They want to kill everyone who is not one of them: Christians, Jews, Muslims, Indians, it really does not matter to them. Canada is learning a lesson that the entire Middle East learned in the 7th century, and that Israel has been learning since its inception: that Fundamentalist Islamic ideology is not just dangerous to its neighbors, its dangerous to everyone. The European Union is finding this out in a harsh way and now its come to our land, and if we ignore it, we will lose everything that makes our Country great.
I am President of an organisation that we started to fight back against this. One Nation Society for Democracy, (Onenationsfd.org) is a group that will advocate for Canadian Rights and Values. We refuse to accept the erosion of everything that makes this country great. At our launch event in Calgary Alberta, we are bringing in 2 speakers – Melanie Philips and Father Raymond deSouza – who will speak about how Europe is currently going through some serious issues with the influx of Islamic fundamentalists and how we can work to prevent those issues in Canada. This is truly an issue that affects all of us. Acknowledgement of the issue is the first step, education is the next, and then we must mobilize and work for change.
IsraellyCool: Why Did This Palestinian Facebook Group Care About A Nepal Bus Crash?
This Hamas affiliated Facebook group with 1.9 Million “likes” (almost 4 times as many as the Times of Israel), shared a story about a bus crash in Nepal.
At the time of writing, this post has more than 9000 likes, 850 shares, and 850 comments.
Why?
Because 2 Israelis died in the crash.
“If it bleeds it leads” is a well known aphorism about journalism. I guess if it’s Jewish and it bleeds that’s even better for Palestinians.

CNN: Making Moral Equivalence Out of Children’s Deaths
While both children were “run down by motorists,” one of those motorists was a Palestinian terrorist who deliberately set out to kill Israelis when he drove his car into passengers disembarking the Jerusalem Light Rail. The other, according to CNN, was carried out by “an Israeli settler” and deliberate, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
Israeli police believed that it was an accident. What CNN also does not tell you is that the Israeli involved stopped at the nearest Jewish community to report the incident and turn himself in, explaining that he’d left the scene to avoid a potentially dangerous crowd that had gathered there.
Does this sound like someone who deliberately set out to kill Palestinian children?
And is the description of the Israeli as a “settler” deliberately meant to imply a motivation for killing Palestinians?
Terrorist’s family demands police lift funeral restrictions
The family of Abdel Rahman al-Shaludi, a Palestinian man who was shot dead by police after ramming his car into a Jerusalem crowd on Wednesday and killing a three-month-old girl, will not take his body from police for burial unless restrictions on the funeral are lifted, a family associate said Sunday.
“The deceased deserves a great and dignified funeral,” Abad Shaludi told Israeli media outlet Ynet. “We will not agree to accept the body with the [funeral] conditions set by the police. If they leave the conditions in place, then it’s better to leave the body with them.”
Shaludi, a Hamas activist from Silwan, was originally set to be buried at a Muslim cemetery near the Old City’s Lions’ Gate at 10 p.m. Saturday after a court authorized a service to be attended by a maximum of 80 people, for fear the event could turn into a violent protest.
However, police postponed the burial and rescheduled it for a time window between 11:00 p.m. and midnight with only 20 mourners, whose names would have to be submitted to police in advance, in attendance.
Tel Aviv Cancels Jerusalem School Trips Due to 'Safety Concerns'
The city of Tel Aviv has cancelled scheduled school trips to Jerusalem in the wake of the ongoing tensions in the city, Channel 10 News reported on Saturday night.
According to the report, eighth graders from all schools in Tel Aviv were scheduled to visit Jerusalem this week for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah trip, but the trip was cancelled following orders from the municipality.
The students were supposed to visit the Western Wall and Ammunition Hill, next to the place where Wednesday’s terrorist attack, in which three-month-old Chaya Zissel Braun was murdered, took place.
The city of Tel Aviv has also cancelled additional trips to Jerusalem, Channel 10 reported, quoting a statement from the city received by parents of schoolchildren.
'Terrorists Control a Portion of the Mount of Olives'
Vandalism at the Mount of Olives cemetery is a rampant problem. In the past, Jewish visitors have filed hundreds of complaints regarding rock-throwing attacks by Arabs, and vandalism of the graves of loved ones.
"The police and security guards at the cemetery - placed there by the government - do not even deal with the terrorists", said King. "Last night, the holy Saturday night of Parshat Noach, the roads leading to the burial plots looked like the entrance to a refugee camp."
"The terrorists set fire to tires and threw Molotov cocktails at the burial cave of the Admor of Gur. Tall pillars of security cameras were set on fire and uprooted, fences were broken and had been torn out. Gravestones were smashed."
Suspect in Shelly Dadon murder case says he was abused, coerced into confession
Shelly Dadon was murdered on the night of May 1st, after she disappeared while on her way to a job interview in Migdal Haemek. On June 16th, the Shin Bet arrested Halifa, a taxi driver from Iblin in the Galilee.
The Shin Bet has said that Halifa picked up Dadon on the way to the interview and took her to a deserted parking lot where he stabbed her to death, leaving stab wounds across her entire body. He then washed his cab in a failed attempt to get rid of physical evidence linking him to the crime, and ditched Dadon’s wallet in the Arab village of Beit Zarzir, where it was found by local youths.
Dadon’s father Yaakov said Sunday that the family had heard the attorneys’ allegations about the confession, but were not concerned about it, saying “we’ve seen the evidence, it’s all solid, they have no chance so they’re trying this tactic, we’re not worried, we trust the justice system.”
‘IDF working to uncover attack tunnels in north’
The IDF is closely monitoring military activity by Lebanese terror group Hezbollah along Israel’s northern border, a retired army official said Saturday, and soldiers are combing the area in search of underground tunnels which may be used by the extremist Shiite group in order to carry out deadly cross-border attacks.
In an interview with Israel Radio, Gershon HaCohen, who recently retired from the IDF at the rank of major-general, stressed that the Israeli defense establishment must take any threats by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah very seriously, adding that the Lebanese organization had gained crucial battle experience after years of fighting rebel groups alongside the regime forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Egypt cancels Hamas-Israel talks following Sinai attack
Dashing Hamas hopes of a détente with the Egyptian regime of Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, Egypt closed its borders to a high-ranking Hamas delegation to talks with Israel on Sunday, accusing Palestinians of involvement in a deadly terror attack in Sinai Friday. The Hamas delegation had been set to resume indirect talks between the Palestinians and Israel over a long-term Gaza ceasefire on Monday, but those talks were canceled.
Sissi said on Saturday that “foreign hands” were behind a suicide car bombing that killed over 30 soldiers at a checkpoint near the northern Sinai town of el-Arish, declaring a three-month state of emergency in the peninsula. But Egypt’s deputy interior minister, Samih Bashadi, was more specific on Sunday, accusing “Palestinian operatives” of involvement in the attack.
Egypt to set up buffer zone with Gaza Strip
Forces were expected to start clearing the zone of structures and vegetation in the coming days, Al-Youm al-Sabaa reported. Army patrols were also set to be increased along the coast from El-Arish, in the northern Sinai peninsula, to the Egyptian border town of Rafah, in an effort to thwart the maritime smuggling of supplies to terrorists.
According to a report in the Egyptian al-Ahram cited by Israel Radio, which quotes an anonymous intelligence official, the perpetrators of the attack Friday infiltrated the peninsula via a tunnel leading from the Gaza Strip. The same source added that although the Egyptian army destroyed over 1,500 tunnels that ran between Gaza and Sinai, some have been rebuilt and were being used to smuggle weapons, funds and manpower.
Left-wing Israeli public figures urge Spain to recognize Palestinian state
The Spanish Parliament was set to follow in the footsteps of its British counterpart by holding a vote on a resolution calling for the recognition of a Palestinian state in the coming weeks. With the vote approaching, a group of left-wing Israeli public figures is planning to send a letter lobbying support for the resolution to the parliament in Madrid.
Former Foreign Ministry director-general Dr. Alon Liel and Peace Now founder Professor Amiram Goldblum are among those behind the initiative for the letter which was published on the Atzuma website, which lobbies support for petitions.
"Following the letter of support for the British Parliament's discussion on recognition of a Palestinian state signed by hundreds of citizens, a similar letter will be sent ahead of the vote in Spanish Parliament scheduled for two weeks from now, and we are asking for your signature. Your signature will also apply to similar letters to parliaments of Israeli allies that initiate discussions of this kind," the group wrote.
Inventing the "Palestinian people"

BDS: Failing for 13 years.
Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) have been a failing tactic since it was first introduced at Durban in 2001. By any objective measure, the economy of Israel is booming. Investment in Israel flourishes. Israeli bond ratings remain high A-list entertainers have continued to visit Israel, both for personal travel and to perform before appreciative crowds.
If you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door. Israel has consistently built a better mousetrap, and innovations in water saving technology, defense technology, medicine and cyber-security will keep the Israeli economy robust for years to come.
"Then why", the BDs'ers ask, "Why do you fight us if we are not a threat?"
I'd answer simply, in the words of Thomas Paine's "It is an affront to truth to treat falsehood with complaisance"
Belgium University Demands Students Cancel Anti-Semitic Event
The president of the University of Liege in Belgium said he was “appalled” at philosophy students for staging a mock Gaza-themed initiation ritual of newcomers.
The invitation to the event, scheduled for Tuesday, was couched in an anti-Semitic language, reading ‘’your goal is to avoid the big bad Jew,” according to the European Jewish Press..
“You’ll be walking in the shoes of a little Palestinian. The goal of your evening is to avoid the big bad Jew and reclaim your home,’’ the invitation stated.
Strong signs of anti-semitism in the BDS movement
A couple of days ago, an organization called COSAS (Congress of South African Students), who are affiliated with the ruling African National Congress, decided it would be a good idea to place a pig’s head in the kosher section of a Woolworths grocery store in the suburb of Sea Point, where I used to live. The aim, according to the perpetrators, was at preventing “people who will not eat pork to pretend that they are eating clean meat, when it is sold by hands dripping with the blood of Palestinian children.” Although the BDS claimed it did not support the action, it was equally quick to justify it by saying it was done with “the good intention of helping the people of Palestine”.
So you see the twisted logic of those who say they are against Israel, but have no problem with the Jews, can easily be exposed for what it really is. Bare faced anti-Semitism, disguised as some kind of justified criticism of the State of Israel. All you need to know about the BDS campaign and the various affiliated movements around the world are laid plain in the form of a pig’s head, right next to the kosher brisket and the kosher chicken wings. If their aim was to strike a chord of fear in the South Africa Jewish community, they could well have succeeded.
Groups like this say they stand for justice, but they really stand for prejudice. They wave the flag of freedom, but are only covering up their own intolerance. They hide behind the banner of a fair and free society, but in reality preach one of racism and xenophobia.
Obama Has Suits Altered To Allow More Shrugging At Arab Antisemitism, Terrorism (satire)
Though in office nearly six years, the president has only more recently had occasion to shrug at the murder of Jews with any frequency. Arab antisemitism, on the other hand, is an everyday occurrence, and the classic styling of Mr. Obama’s clothes has forced him to keep his shrugging at Jewish misfortune to a minimum, or to delegate the gesture to senior aides or his Secretary of State.
The president told reporters that Secretary Kerry has been doing a “helluva job” expressing the necessary apathy at the dangers facing Israel and Jews, but that properly, the shrugging should be performed by the chief executive himself.
“Mr. Kerry has done an admirable job – a helluva pinpoint operation, actually, seizing on exactly the right attacks on Jews to ignore or downplay while accepting the false Palestinian narrative of victimhood in a single sentence,” said Obama. “But now that I’ve got my new threads, I shall be shrugging personally at the deaths of Jews, starting with three-month-old Chaya-Zissel Braun,” he continued, demonstrating the gesture.
Labor’s Miliband set to be guest speaker at pro-Palestinian dinner
Barely days after Labor Party leader Ed Miliband led twothirds of his party’s MPs through the Commons voting lobbies in support of early recognition of a “Palestinian” state, he appears to be willing to rub more salt in the wounds of the pro-Israel faction in his party.
Eagle eyed observers of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s website have been invited to splash out £150-a-head to attend what in effect will be a celebratory dinner for Labor’s pro-Palestinian lobby, with opposition leader Miliband as one of their guest speakers.
He is due to appear along with Manuel Hassassian, who is described as the “Palestinian Ambassador,” though officially in the UK can only be referred to as the Palestinian Representative.
We made the national Students for Justice in Palestine enemies list
I really can’t imagine why.
Maybe it’s because we exposed in great, fully-documented detail, what SJP on campus actually represents.
How SJP at Northeastern University engaged in “dorm storming” and marched to the chant of “Long Live Intifada” (the bloody suicide bombing campaign directed at Israeli civilians).
Intifada Missouri – Anti-Israel activists may push Ferguson over the edge
As much tension as there is, an underreported story is the active role of “pro-Palestinian” activists who have exploited the Ferguson riots and tension this summer and fall to push their anti-Israel agenda. That anti-Israeli agenda, which involves encouraging confrontation with police in solidarity with Palestinians, is helping provide the accelerant to an already volatile situation.
It started with a propaganda campaign over the summer when Brown was shot. On Twitter and elsewhere, anti-Israel activists started tweeting messages of “support” for protesters in Ferguson, including advice on how to deal with tear gas.
It was a highly organized effort to exploit the Ferguson tension and co-opt it into the anti-Israel cause:
Yawn. #‎OpOrwahHammad‬ Another hackathon directed towards Israel
More puffery from Anonymous.
They write:
#‎OpOrwahHammad‬ has officially kicked-off now, and Israeli government websites are feeling it. Anonymous is targeting Israeli government websites in protest of the killing of young Orwah Hammad and many Palestinians alike. The world will not stand by such brutality. Israeli Government beware for you should have Expected Us.

Hamas criticizes construction delays as Israeli plot
A senior Hamas member said over the weekend that reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip have been handled poorly up to this point and put the blame squarely on Israel.
Mahmoud Zahar blamed Israel for a failure to distribute construction materials throughout the Strip, claiming materials were being delayed on purpose to keep Gaza from rebuilding itself.
Zahar also criticized the lack in construction material delivery except for on the day when UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon visited on October 14. He said that the materials that entered that day have also not yet been distributed for construction.
Hamas has openly announced that it has renewed construction of terror tunnels, created with construction materials intended for civilian use, sparking Israel to be wary of sending building materials into Gaza.
Hamas Attempts Eighth Rocket Test since Op. Protective Edge
Security sources reported Sunday that Hamas had conducted another experimental trial of firing rockets into the Mediterranean Sea. An Israeli citizen confirmed witnessing one of the launches from near the Gaza border.
The test, conducted early Sunday morning, consisted of two rockets being launched from what used to be Gush Katif, in Gaza. The first rocket fell short and second landed in the ocean.
Sunday's incident represents at least the eighth time in which such an experiment has taken place since Operation Protective Edge ended in a ceasefire. It is also the third test in four days, the most recent of which occurred Friday morning.
Lebanese troops battle Sunni militants in Tripoli streets
The Lebanese army brought tanks and commando forces into the northern city of Tripoli Sunday, where fighting with Muslim militants has intensified and spread to nearby areas.
Several tanks, armored personnel carriers and Humvees carrying commandos arrived on the edge of the Bab Tabbaneh neighborhood, where clashes were heaviest. Intense gunfire exchanges and sporadic explosions rang out across the neighborhood, the worst fighting Tripoli has seen for months.
The clashes, which broke out Friday night, have so far killed five soldiers, two civilians and wounded many others. It was not clear if there were casualties among the militants.
Jihadists threaten to execute Lebanese soldiers
Al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate threatened Sunday to kill Lebanese soldiers it captured in fighting in August unless the army halts its operations against Islamist militants in Lebanon’s second city Tripoli.
Al-Nusra Front, which has previously executed one captive Lebanese soldier, issued its threat after troops cleared militants from Tripoli’s historic central market district on Saturday in an operation that left one civilian and one militant dead.
Many of the militants managed to withdraw to the Bab al-Tebbaneh district of the city, a Sunni Islamist stronghold, where troops were engaged in heavy fighting on Sunday, an AFP correspondent reported.
Terrorists are the Best British Students

Professor Anthony Glees has compared them to the German terrorist organization Baader-Meinhof: “A movement of terrorists from the middle class, whose members were highly educated and lived in one of the most liberal and democratic societies of our time.”
The British terrorists who went to fight for the Islamic State are all from wealthy families, they are the best examples of British multiculturalism, boys and girls who attended the most prestigious schools in the UK, often private schools, those who wanted to change the world and were photographed with the ministers of Downing Street.
Terrorists who grow up in the best universities in the UK.
Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, the mastermind of the kidnapping and murder of American Jewish journalist Daniel Pearl, graduated from the London School of Economics.
Waheed Zaman, who tried to blow up flights over the Atlantic, was the chairman of London University’s Islamic Society.
The Horror Before the Beheadings
“The kidnappers knew which countries would be the most amenable to their demands, and they created an order based on the ease with which they thought they could negotiate,” one said. “They started with the Spanish.”

One day, the guards came in and pointed to the three Spanish captives. They said they knew the Spanish government had paid six million euros for a group of aid workers kidnapped by a Qaeda cell in Mauritania, a figure available online in articles about the episode.
As the negotiations for the Spanish prisoners progressed rapidly — the first was released this March, six months after he had been captured — the militants moved on to the four French journalists.
With time, the 23 prisoners were divided into two groups. The three American men and the three British hostages were singled out for the worst abuse, both because of the militants’ grievances against their countries and because their governments would not negotiate, according to several people with intimate knowledge of the events.
“It’s part of the DNA of this group to hate America,” one said. “But they also realized that the United States and Britain were the least likely to pay.”
Within this subset, the person who suffered the cruelest treatment, the former hostages said, was Mr. Foley. In addition to receiving prolonged beatings, he underwent mock executions and was repeatedly waterboarded.
In video, Islamic State hostage says group waterboards captives
In Cantlie’s fifth appearance in an IS video, the captured journalist read what he claimed was correspondence between the Islamic State and the families of other captives, in which they criticized the US government, according to the Press Association news agency.
“We have begged them so many times already. Everyone has buried their heads in the sand,” he read from one email he said was from July 17 of this year. “We feel we are caught in the middle between you and the US government, and we are being punished.”
He also reassured viewers that hostages were being treated well by their IS captors, as long as they behaved.
“Now, unless we tried something stupid like escaping or doing something we shouldn’t, we were treated well by the Islamic State,” he said. “Some of us who tried to escape were waterboarded by our captors, as Muslim prisoners are waterboarded by their American captors.”
UN Commends Israel for Fighting Ebola Outbreak
However, even the UN thanked Israel during a visit from the Israeli delegation last week, Walla! News reports Sunday, for its dedication to taking steps against the Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa and sparking hysteria in the West.
"I want to thank you for your letter regarding Israel's commitment to join the global struggle against the Ebola outbreak," Ban wrote, in a letter to Israel's ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, "including the contribution of health clinics against Ebola in Sierra Leone and Liberia."
"I am grateful for Israel's critical support, as well, in sending sending medical and infectious disease experts to Ethiopia and Cameroon, to conduct preparedness exercises there [in the event the outbreak spreads]," he continued. "This is very good, very positive news. Israel's contribution will play a significant role in increasing the quality and accessibility of care to victims."
"I'm sure I can count on Israel's support," he concluded.
Air Supply brings the love to Tel Aviv
Tickets went on sale Sunday morning for the December 12 and December 14 Tel Aviv performances of the Aussie eighties band. The performances will be produced by Udi Appelboim and will take place at Tel Aviv’s Charles Bronfman Auditorium.
It’s not the first time Air Supply is coming to Israel. The band, made up of guitarist Graham Russell and vocalist Russell Hitchcock, was here in 2011, when they performed at the Ra’anana Ampitheater.
The duo are best known for their brand of soft rock love songs such as “I’m All Out of Love” and “Even The Nights Are Better.” The two met while performing in a local 1975 production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
Thousands pack Masada for Dead Sea Rave -424
Nearly 12,000 revelers partied in front of Masada at the Dead Sea Rave -424, featuring nine DJs from Europe, the US and Israel – including UK DJ Paul Oakenfold and Iranian- American DJ duo Deep Dish, on Thursday night.
The event began in the evening and lasted until sunrise, with electronic dance music fans both young and old – many in the neon clothing and face-paint characterizing raves – dancing wildly to the music as the smell of marijuana filled the air and, according to some attendees, the party drug “Molly” or MDMA could be easily found.
Creative Director Avi Yosef planned the second annual event within six weeks, following Operation Protective Edge, and said he hoped it would only be the beginning of Israel becoming a major venue for music festivals.
MDA honors ‘Protective Edge’ medics at Beverly Hills gala
Hosted by Jay Leno with musical entertainment Paul Anka, Thursday night’s American Friends of Magen David Adom’s Red Stars Ball was a star-studded affair.
Attendees opened their hearts and their wallets at the Beverly Hilton hotel benefit, raising $6 million — the most money ever raised at a single event on behalf of MDA — for the blood bank, as well as for mobile intensive care units, motorcycles and fully equipped ambulances.
At one point, so many of the 900-odd tuxedo and ball gown-clad attendees stood up to pledge $100,000 for an ambulance, Leno quipped, “We want to make sure every Jew in Israel has their own ambulance,” and, “Does anyone has land in Israel where we can park all these ambulances?”
The evening was co-hosted by AMFDA Western Region Board Chair Paul Guerin and opened by Christian Pastor Robert Stearns who sang “Hatkivah” and spoke of his enormous love for Israel.
New museum brings Poland’s Jewish past to life
A millennium of Jewish history in Poland was obliterated by Nazi Germany in the Holocaust. Now, a new Warsaw museum is celebrating a lost Jewish community that was the world’s largest and most vibrant.
“We are reconstructing something that was completely destroyed,” says Dariusz Stola, director of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, whose core exhibition opens Tuesday.
“The void is the biggest monument of Jewish Warsaw — empty places — and this museum will compensate for it. It will show the story.”
While all the main Jewish museums in the world are centered around the Holocaust, he says, the idea here was to create a museum of life.
